Wrongly describing the width of this pan
I would have loved this pan if it really was the size that’s listed in the description! It is NOT the size that was the actual pot. It’s more like 10.5 inches, not the advertised 12 inches. Otherwise I like the structure and shape.
Great pan
The handle is very durable and there aren't any plastic parts that overheat and cause smell/smoke when they are too close to the element. The handle is handy as the pan is heavy and the lid is well made. Excellent quality, heats up quickly and is easy to clean.
Rights sized and durable
This pan is the perfect size for braising meat and vegetables -- the sides are high enough to deal with liquid but low enough to get a good saute going. The non-stick coating is durable.
Light usage -- already some marks
We've used this five times. After the first usage (with only soft vinyl and wooden utensils) we noticed some "marring" of the nonstick surface. Pan continues to perform well, but marring has increased with each usage.
If you buy one pan in your lifetime, this should be it.
The most perfectly designed saute pan. Cooks beautifully, evenly, easily. Anyone who cooks (or even really doesn't!) should have this pan. Perfect weight, perfect size. Great for vegetables, eggs, crisping salmon skin for the perfect piece of salmon. Can't say enough good things about it!
HA1 Hard Anodized Nonstick Cookware, Saute Pan wit
So far it works great. I don't care for the handle because of the weight of the pan. I believe it was designed to use both hands and if you do so it is not a problem. Other than that it would have been 5 stars.
Works great
The pan is wonderful and workes so well.
Great for sautéing not for searing
Goos size sauté pan, lightweight and easy to maneuver on the stove. Holds lots of food. Decent for searing meat but not great because it doesn't get hot enough on an induction cooktop. It needs more magnetic mass on the baseplate to get good heat. We have to go up two settings compared to other pots (like 7 vs. 5) to get the same heating. But, it's easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and an attractive style.
The pan we I received is great, except the bottom keeps scratching our stove top glass surface. Tried to smooth a bit with sandpaper but no luck so far.
Love it
I love my all clad cookware. The quality is unchallenged, great. I love that these can be used on my induction stove.
Glass top Exploded
I bought this about 1 1/2 years ago. Loved the pan and used it often, until the glass top exploded into little pieces. Called all clad since I registered it, they said it had a lifetime limited warranty, however I was told just the pan and not the glass top had the warrantee. They
nice pan
very nice pan, the non stick is great and i like the extra handle on the side, my only complaint is the handle is awkward to hold onto, I think the handle could be improved to be more solid and easier to grip.
Nice pot but it ISNT 7 inches tall. Even with lid it is 4 inches. I wanted it for single pasta portions and it is way too shallow. I had to return it
Using it every single day
I've had this workhorse pan for less than a month, but I use it almost nightly. It heats evenly and allows me to cook at a lower temperature. No hot spots and completely nonstick. This one purchase has be thinking about replacing a few other pans in my arsenal. The size is a bit large for our two-person household, but the extra room in the pan equates to less crowding and overflowing. My only wish is that the helper handle didn't get so hot. Otherwise, it's perfect for our needs.
Nonstick is not covered by the warranty
I rarely used this nonstick saute pan (I have a stainless-steel set and use it instead). Never put it in a dishwasher, used only silicon spoons. When I noticed that the nonstick deteriorated, I reached out to the all-clad warranty department. "Lifetime warranty" is a joke. First, I was told that I scratched it. Then, the customer service agreed that it was not scratched, but, apparently, nonstick is not covered by the warranty. I was told that nonstick is not a manufacturing defect. If the company does not stand by its product, there is no reason to pay a premium price. Very expensive mistake. I will use another brand next time.
Best pan
This is one of the best pans that I have ever used. Food washes off easily, you almost don't need any oil when frying or sauting. Now that I have it I couldn't do without it.
Loved the durability, it’s a non stick safe pan. And I have become a fan of All-Clad and started collecting my pieces here and there. You get what you pay for here. I also loved the style of the way the Ha1 looked.
Thrilled with my purchase
After MUCH research, finally invested in this line of pans. Let’s just say I couldn’t be happier! Handle is uncomfortable on its own as I expected… but with the second handle it’s not a problem. Having said that…. This pan heats evenly just as it claims, it is just so versatile I find myself pulling it out more times than not.
Scratches ceramic cooktops!
I love the inside of this pan - cooks evenly and cleans up great, but the metal plate on the bottom is scratching my ceramic cooktop surface. I called All-Clad and there is nothing they will do, so FYI before you buy anything in this product line.
Scratches Ceramic Cooktops!
I like everything about this pan, except the metal plate on the bottom. The pan heats evenly and cleans up great, but the metal plate has scratched my ceramic cooktop, so I can't use it unless I want scratches all over my stove. I called All-Clad to see if they would trade it for a different pan, but they will not.
