Fit and Smell!

I have never purchased this brand of sheets before now, nor will I ever again. First, is the fit. I was always taught when making a bed that the tag on a fitted sheet should go in the bottom right corner. The fit was off kilter when I was making the bed. I decided to remake the bed and put the tag on the lower left side. Voila! They fit right! hmm... Secondly, I have two allergies, mold and hay fever in the spring. This is November so it must be mold. Now I have washed these sheets twice. I had allergy type symptoms while making the bed after first washing in cold water like the instructions stated. I took them off and rewashed in warm water with a Lysol wash additive. The same exact reaction while making the bed again! Removed them! Macy's return policy is terrible, especially if you have washed something. I would have purchased the Charter Club but the last set I bought no longer fit my tall mattress. They used to fit fine! This will be a loss I'm sure! No more sheets from Macy's!

Sky blue color does not match the sheets.

The color does not match the identical sheet set-also by Pointehaven. I ordered an extra set of pillowcases. This is horrible. The light blue is the extra set of pillowcases. The other blue is the sheet set. Both descriptions said sky blue for color. These colors aren’t even close. This review is based on color alone.

These are fabulous pillowcases, so soft luxurious. They were delivered on time and packaged very responsibly in reusable plastic bags.

So very nice quality

These are so very nice. I bought the light blue ones. I had a request to paint something on one. And it turned out very well. The material is so nice. Very high end looking. Highly recommend them. If I need more I will definitely come and get these.

Nice color, wash great.

I have extra pillows on my guest bed and needed something to use with the chocolate flannels I bought. My guest appreciated them They washed up beautiful. If you take them out right away, zero wrinkles.

Pillow cases Did Not arrive

I did not receive these pillowcases although the sales slip was in the box with the Bed Sheet Set. I called as soon as I received the package of sheets. I hope the pillow cases arrive. Germaine G Messineo.

Not a true Cali King.

Ordered a Cali King & they do not fit our mattress, sizing looks more like a traditional king size bed. I may have been sent the wrong size but I tossed the packaging before I noticed. The quality and feel are great otherwise. Honestly wish they fit.

Beautiful pristine white pillowcases. They are generously size and on the heavy side which reflects that they will last a long time. Waiting for them to soften up a little more with multiple washing.

Good quality pillowcases at a great price

I have been looking for two sets of king-size Egyptian cotton pillowcases for a while. I got these for a great price and have been very satisfied with my purchase. They arrived are high quality -- good density and very soft. Also, minimal shrinking and wrinkling after washing.

Color

I ordered the Expresso color, but it turned out to have too much yellow in it. I also returned the dark brown pillowcases because they wouldn't have matched. I felt the material, but didn't take them out of the package. The material was a medium weight fabric which is good.

Can’t get it right.

Two tries, two failures, numerous phone calls. Too much. This supplier has a big warehouse problem. Ordered standard size pillow cases. First shipment was king size, packaged in plastic container that said “standard” one place, “king”in another. Yep. They were king. OK, mistakes happen. Overstock rep said he understood problem, would be sure warehouse actually checked contents and labeling before sending replacement. Immediately sent return shipping label for erroneous shipment. Great response and much confidence…You can probably guess what happened. Second shipment, identical problem. Obviously no one checked, just grabbed something from the same flawed packing shelf. Second Overstock rep understood why I no longer trusted the supplier, set up a refund, and said return label for second failure would arrive via e-mail in one or two days (?). Instead, I immediately got a “Sorry” letter advising me that I could return item via any shipper I chose. No shipping label. Third Overstock rep tried to confirm that refund actually requested and immediately sent a return label. Last trip by me to UPS to send back Overstock’s supplier’s mistake. If refund processing promise is a myth I will update these comments so others are not similarly trapped. Two stars only because shipping was fast and two out of three reps actually did what they said. Beware.

Really nice crisp white pillowcases

I’ve bought two sets of king pillow cases and both sets are very difficult to get on my firm king pillow. I think they’re 21” wide, and they really should be at least another 1.5 or even 2” wide. But I love the crisp feeling of the cotton, and they’re very nice.

Sleeping on silky smooth pillows!!

Needed silky white king pillow cases and these fit the request. No wrinkles after washing and oh so comfortable. Nice fabric and appear long lasting not like my other thin wrinkled ones. High quality at a great price.

Superior towels at thrift store prices.

I was extremely lucky to find these towels.These are thick Turkish towels of truly outstanding quality. I was truly shocked to find these towels of such quality at the low price it was advertised. Overstock.com never fails to disappoint.

Great Pillowcases

Nice soft pillowcases. They wash well and the price was great. Very happy with this purchase. I bough a set of sheets that needed the extra pillowcases and these blend well with the set.

Generous size, quality fabric

I bought an extra set of king pillowcases to go with the 500-count deep pocket sheet set. Same color name (latte), very slight but acceptable difference in appearance. The cases are very well made, with a flap that tucks into the open end for extra coverage. The opening hem is finished with a drop-needle detail ( I think that’s the term), a nice decorative touch not present in the cases that were included with the sheet set. I really like the smooth, substantial feel of the fabric. (Remove promptly from dryer to minimize wrinkles.) I would buy again.

Good but there are 2 in the pack

I bought this pillowcase, I'm happy with it. Nowhere (at least that I could tell) did it say there were 2 in the pack. So I got a second pack for my other pillow and now I have a total of 4. Which is fine for laundry purchases but not what I was expecting. And I probably would have purchased a different color for the other set

Blue Pointehaven Pillowcases

Really like these blue Pointehaven pillowcases. Color and material are great. A very pretty blue, not too dark or too light. They wash well and feel really nice to the touch. I've had this set of sheets for many, many years and finally had to break down and replace the pillow cases. I've got the same set by Pointehaven in the sage color. Can't complain and I definitely got my monies worth.
