Good at first

I initially had high hopes for Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Ultra Gentle Daily Peel, and to be honest, it worked wonders in the beginning. My skin felt smoother and looked brighter after just a few uses. However, I did notice that over time, the results plateaued. While it's still a decent product, I would recommend incorporating it as part of a broader skincare routine rather than relying on it solely for long-term results. With consistency and the right complementary products, you can truly maximize its potential!

These pads work great, I usually only use them at night as I tend to be more sensitive during the day when I go out in the sun so I am not using these twice a day and they still provide me great results. I get a lot of white heads and closed comedones and this product really is effective at clearing them. I am not a fan of the price because you only get 5 pads for $20 in this smaller version but if you want more of a bang for your buck what I like to do is cut the pad in half or sometimes 4’s to increase the longevity of the product. It doesn’t have much of a scent it kind of just smells like chemicals but nothing overwhelming.

Excellent

I wanted to introduce an acid into my morning routine and opted for this. I loved the fact that this range has three strengths to work up to. My skin can be reactive if I over do actives. I started with this and used one packet every morning. I felt it made my skin brighter. I can be prone to suffer from congestion on my nose and this definitely improved that. I did not experience any adverse reactions. I was confident to move up to the Universal daily peel.

Skin feels soft

This is a review of the Alpha Beta Ultra Gentle Daily Peel that I bought on the recommendation of Dr. Gross’s site after completing their questionnaire. I also do not use it daily at this time because I purchased it at the same time as the LED mask and my skin is sensitive, fair, and I am careful about sun exposure since a young adult (55 now). As yet, I don’t use this every day, when I do, the results are positive. My skin feels soft and appears smoother. I am careful to use hydrating products on my skin after I have followed directions for the peel. I am happy with the Gentle Daily Peel so far and appreciated the input from Dr. G’s website. As an aside, I recently moved into a new home and one of my neighbors thought I was under 35. I asked if she was missing her glasses and maybe because we were standing in the shade. But this is to say, I take care of my skin and look for great products to support elasticity, reduction of appearance of wrinkles, redness, and clear pores.

Makes a real difference!

I have very sensitive skin and never thought that I could use a peeling product but this is excellent. I have had no adverse reaction and have now been using this 3 times a week at night for nearly 2 years. I don’t feel the need to use it n a daily basis but that’s just a personal choice . I’m 71 and my skin has never been better. Honestly it adds freshness and glow. Don’t hesitate it’s very very gentle but so effective.

Marvelous product

This has completely transformed my skin in a short period of time with daily use. It’s gentle, the scent is clean and it has helped get rid of hyper pigmentation on my face, the fine lines are less noticeable and I feel more confident since I’ve started using again. I used this several years ago and I’m now questioning why I stopped, that won’t be the case this time around. I can also say that the ingredients and effectiveness are the same as before , absolutely marvelous! I highly recommend.

My New Fave daily face treatment

This right here has been a huge game changer. I have been diligently working on reducing the redness of my skin caused by rosacea in my t-zone and general sensitivity/redness on the rest of my face and all the way down to my intensely sun damaged décolletage.

Love it but

I've been using these for one and half years and it makes such a difference in my skin HOWEVER I order from different places like sephora, amazon and directly from Dr. Dennis website and each box I order is never the same. I follow the directions as you're supposed too but when it comes to the second wipes some boxes the second wipes gets soapy when applied which I find makes my face break out and other boxes I ordered the second wipe doesn't get soapy and that gives me the best results. I order these monthly but it feels like such a gamble. The inconsistent wipes with different orders is why I rate it 3 stars

Subtle feeling, intense payback!

Used it for the first time this afternoon and WOWZA! My skin looks as nice (or nicer) than it did at the height of my happiest skin years. The barely there scent was delicious, the towelettes with their individual magic potions were soothing to my sensitive/rosacea red skin and now I a feel fabulous! This is a lovely addition to my skincare and I am looking forward to working my way up the DDG peel-chain!

The best exfoliator around

These pads are fantastic. They are great at gentle resurfacing of the skin without causing any irritation and leave my skin feeling clean, clear and hydrated, ready for any serum I choose to put on top. I really feel that these help prep the skin, encouraging healthy cell turnover in a gentle way and allowing the following skincare you use to be its most effective. I love chucking these in my toiletry bag for travel as they are so small and you can just take the number you need. I don't have sensitive skin so I think I will take it up the a higher strength next time. I'm not sure I'll ever be without these magic pads.

Fantastic but pricey

I love these. I used the normal ones in the past and they aggravated my skin and I had no idea they did this milder version until recently . I initially bought the 5 pack and was so impressed I bought the larger pack. My skin glows daily after use and looks like glass. I suffer with acne and this is starting to clear my skin up a bit. I recommend these for anyone who can afford it with sensitised skin

Great for improving dullness

Still a fav but strong

Still a fav though skin since I’ve reduced a lot of unsuspected toxic ingredients and Xenoestrogens over time, is more reactive than past. More red. Whereas I started these using normal strength in my mid 30’s - over ten years ago - I use these gentle ones now on special occasions mostly or when I need a good cell turnover-exfoliation. They make your skin glow and give a bit of tautness.

Exfoliates Nicely

I was using the Universal Daily Peel and loved how clear, smooth and glowing my skin looked after an application. As we're now in colder temps, my skin was feeling a bit dry and decided to try the Ultra Gentle peel. I'm finding during these colder, drier months, my skin is responding better to the Ultra Gentle peel. After an application, my skin feels hydrated and glowing. For reference, I have dry, mature skin and these peels really do make a difference.

I have been suffering from rosacea for years, and these are gentle enough to use on my super sensitive skin! They have made such a difference in my skin texture and in the amount of breakouts. I started out using them twice a week, and I now use them every other day. My friends have commented about a noticeable difference in my skin. I did have a bit of purging initially, but the end reward has been worth it.

Please listen to this review if you care about your skin. I have tried everything for my skin and I finally took the leap to buy this expensive product but unfortunately it broke me out like crazy. For the first 2 weeks there wasn’t much of a difference until the third week I started growing pimples where I never even had pimples before and now they’re very stubborn and aren’t going away. The return process for this was also very difficult since I used 22 pads but I was just so sad and dissatisfied that I wanted my money back (wish I could’ve got my skin before back too). It might work for people who don’t have sensitive skin but I have sensitive skin and my skin held on for those 3 weeks I was using it, I regret it so much and I hope you don’t go through that either

This product is good, but not great. Its marketed for sensitive skin and i have dry/acne prone/ sensitive skin.

Pass

First off, if you use this product as the box instructs, your skin will hate you. I bought the "ultra gentle" peel due to having dry, sensitive skin, but I could use this, AT MOST, twice a week without my skin breaking out, feeling dry, and becoming irritated. If you plan on using this every other week, then this will work for you. The exfoliation leaves my skin dewy afterwards IF I use this twice a week, not every day. I also did not have any dramatic positive results like so many other reviewers did, which bummed me out. At best, my skin just benefit from a gentle exfoliation that I could have found elsewhere for far less than $90.
