Bought a 12'x14' (with rain and fire treatment) for hunting in Eastern Ontario. I have used it for two seasons now, both with up to a foot of snow falling at one point. These tents are awesome! I used a stove bought from Cabelas to heat it and it gets pretty warm inside. Only a little cooler at the back of the tent. Lots of space. I had some initial questions about the stove jack and Customer Service got back to me quickly and was very helpful. Eventually want to pick up a porch for it. Highly recommend.
I was in the search for a wall tent. I have always wanted one but discouraged about how hard the process can be getting one. What company? What options are a necessity? What’s the warranty like? Do I need to buy my own poles? Does it have a floor? The process seemed to be overwhelming and I put it off. I recently attended a hunt expo where Whiteduck had a tent on site as well as 3 other major brands of wall tents. I was able to look them all over and see the pros and cons of each company. Some charged more if ya wanted a window. Some only had canvas and you had to cut your own poles but for $150 they will provide you with a cut list. When we went to Whiteduck it almost seemed to be too good to be true! It literally came with everything! A nice thick durable floor that connects to the frame. 4 windows, a nice screen for warmer nights, awesome wall poles with a foot pedal to keep things in place, all the tie down guy lines attached. It came with all the stakes and even a hammer to put them in! I went with the fire and water canvas and we were in some of the nastiest storms throughout the year and it kept us dry dry dry!! We did have a small issue with a back wall but Whiteduck is awesome and standing by their word and warranty! You literally have a piece of mind knowing you bought a quality tent with these guys! We have a stove in ours and the canvas keeps everyone nice and warm as it keeps a lot of the heat in! We recently were in 15° nights and sleeping on top of our bags because it was so cozy! I can not say enough good things about this company and the products they put out! If you are looking for a wall tent do yourself a favor and buy Whiteduck! You will not be disappointed and definitely no regrets! They have sizes to fit any family needs! We are a family of 6 and I have the 14x16 with everyones sleeping gear and stove we still have room to put up a folding table to eat dinner in the warm! So once again if you are looking for a wall tent don’t waste your time on any of the other brands! This is where you need to be!! I will forever be a Whiteduck customer and spokesman for them! Thanks Whiteduck for going above and beyond to provide a quality, easy set up, and painless product!!
This tent has by far exceeded all expectations! When I first received the tent I unboxed and set up to season and inspect. I left the tent up for a few days to fully dry and the wind speeds got up to 55 mph. The tent hardly budged!! Oklahoma wind can be brutal and it didn’t phase this tent. Took the tent out for the first time and it took about 45 mins to set up, which isn’t bad considering it’s the second time assembly. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and excited to spend many years enjoy it with family.
Took the 10x12 Wall tent to Colorado for late season elk and got down to about 10-11. F consistently. We had a small wood stove in our tent and we slept with the a window open. This thing holds the heat! The quality is there and for such a better price than the competition. The customer service was top notch. If I needed another one I’d buy it here.
I love this 12x14 Wall tent its just the right size for a Queen size bed, dresser and coffee bar! The material is heavy duty beautiful. It took 3 of us and a dolly to move the box of poles from the shipping company to the garage!
Love the tent. Was a long wait to get it, but otherwise all the reviews are on the mark here. It's premium tent with super-high build quality and well thought out features. The only strike was the mallet that came with the tent, which did not survive the first pitching. Not a big enough issue to withhold a full star though, so I still give it five stars.
We had originally sought out a yurt to live off grid in. After dozens of hours (and phone calls), we decided to take a chance on this 16x20' wall tent. We've lived off grid in a tiny house before, but we're honestly super nervous about living in a "tent." Well, can honestly say these bad boys are AMAZING. The tents themselves are huge, and well designed. The three bags we got were around 150 pounds a piece; heavy but we could lug them around, albeit with some grunting. Helped that there are straps, so my wife and I each took a strap and carried them together. Some of the reviews were negative due to "not clear instructions," so we watched the videos White Duck offers before setting up. We had our 15 year-old help us and it was up within 30 minutes. No biggie at all, just watch their vids/tutorials. We did build a stilted base to keep the floor dry and away from any bugs/animals who might want to join us. Honestly in love with this thing, and our intentional community neighbors have decided to get one as well. My only "complaint" is that they went on sale a week after we bought ours, and had we waited it would have saved us $500. Maybe White Duck will sponsor us and give us a porch? 😂This canvass does super well against the cold, and winds averaging 15-20 mph in our area. When it was 12 degrees outside we were okay in it with only a small propane heater, as our wood stove isn't installed yet.Downsides, if you're single or not able to carry much: 2+ people to set up is essential, an the bags weigh as much as the local woo-girls in your town. The instructions aren't super thorough, so you'll have to watch the video/tutorial to put up properly without issues. Keep those things in mind and you'll enjoy the crud out of your tent as much as we do.
So far dealing with White Duck has been awesome. The ordering and delivery process was flawless. I received my ordered in the dead of winter so I have been unable to open everything up and assemble it. But, if everything goes as it did with the ordering and delivery, it will be stellar. I am excited to spend many hours using the wall tent for hunting, fishing and just camping in our great Idaho outdoors. The personal contact and attention to detail during the purchase was not only exceptional but truly appreciated. Additionally, I received my Heroes discount which just put this organization over the top of all others I considered during my search for my wall tent. Thanks a bunch.
I'm very happy with the tent. However some of the quality is not optimum. The plastic on one window either came ripped or was ripped during first set up. The provided mallet broke on the second stake. And the stitching on one velcro loop to hold canvas to wall pole is loose. Customer support is phenomenal. They found and contacted me to fix my mistake when I ordered the wrong fly sheet weeks after I ordered my tent.
Like the product so far. It has kept the rain out. But I have always had a rain fly on my other tents. Do you make a rain fly for this tent. You advertise water resistant. I need water proof. We will have this tent for years and I am skeptical it will remain water resistant very long. Of course we will take very good care of it by making sure it is dry for storage. Thank you. J D Whitten.

Great tent. Spent a week in the mountains. Weather went from 70 and sunny to 50 and rain with 40mph winds. Then it snowed 9 inches.. the tent performed flawless and we stayed dry. To top it off the customer service is top notch. The original tent was never shipped and they were able to get us another just before the trip
This tent is really phenomenal. I recently built a platform on a piece of property I own in the woods with the intention of putting up a wall tent. I wanted to be able to live a bit more comfortable for longer periods of time than is possible with two people in a two person camping tent. After a lot of searching and reviews I found White Duck and was amazed by the comparatively lower price which included the tent poles and brackets. I was a little skeptical it would be as good as the other options out there and for less money but the reviews were solid so I dove right in. Let me tell you I couldn't be happier that I did.
My husband and I love this wall tent! We will be using it this winter at our property to sleep in while hunting and working on our cabin. My only wish is that it came with the stove opening already cut through the canvas. My husband cut it out and I'm hoping he did it properly so we don't have a leak. We will find out soon when it starts to rain/snow. I would recommend this tent to anyone searching for a wall tent.
Best Quality Cabin tent out there!
I bought this tent to put on our property by a creek. I researched heavily for about a month, checking out all of the other options out there. White Duck Outdoors is by far the best option for price and quality. I left the tent up all throughout the winter. It endured high winds, heavy snow, rain, you name it, and its still standing! Many of the other tent company's do not include the poles or brackets with the purchase of their tents, so after spending more on their tents, you'll then also have to make a trip to your local supply store and purchase, measure and cut poles to fit the canvas. White Duck includes everything that you need to create a perfect ambiance for your glamping site!
After reading reviews, I ordered the 10X12 and the front porch, ultimately to use at a campsite of ours alongside a river in Indiana favorable for fly-fishing. Regarding customer service, we placed the order in early March just as Coronavirus was beginning to spread. The tent arrived, but not the poles (shipped separately) and so I raised questions to White Duck. They acted immediately to trace the shipment and determined that it had been lost, and said they immediately would ship a new set of poles. Due to the shutdowns associated with the virus, I was ready for there to be further disruption, so I inquired about the timing of arrival, only to discover that very morning they had an earthquake which damaged the warehouse, injured, and cut power! They remained highly responsive in the turmoil, and managed to confirm the shipment had taken place and provide tracking information, clearly concerned that I receive all in time for planned use of it. There was clearly a strong sense of personal responsibility that the company meet my need, even as they suffered under the incredible challenges of virus and earthquake.Regarding the product, I have nothing else to compare to, but I think it’s outstanding. Every detail and need seems to have been thought of and met, including precise numbers of diverse stakes, a mallet, carrying cases, and cords all pre-attached to the tent and properly knotted, and buckles and hooks to hold flaps in well-considered ways and places. The manual was a tad confusing but that did not long delay our assembling the poles and erecting the tent for the first time, which we did in our back yard for the experience of it. All pieces were as specified and none missing. (I’m still a little confused about an included wire aperture and am seeking guidance.) The clear roll-up windows arrived pretty wrinkled from shipping; my expectation is that situation will resolve itself, but have asked for recommendation from White Duck as to how address it. The tent and poles are all heavy duty... and heavy to carry. Best to have two people pitching in.I had also bought A medium (Winterwell) camp stove, along with fire mat, double-wall chimney section, and flashing. I was able easily using a sharp knife to cut the necessary hole in the tent’s stove jack and install the flashing, followed by the camp stove and chimney. (As an experiment, on a windy, overcast, 50 degree day, the temperature inside the tent rose to 94 degrees in no time.)If we have need for a second tent for our campsite, I would not hesitate to order It from White Duck again.
The customer service was just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to White Duck. I'm building a large project with 6 of these 16x20 tents so I had quite a few questions and Kumar and any other person I spoke with on the phone or through email were a huge help and extremely responsive. Then I got the tents and and I was super impressed. Everyone that sees these tents is blown away and so excited for me to get finished up and ready to rent. The whole town is talking about them! There is so much room inside the tents I've placed as many as 2 queen beds and a futon with PLENTY of room left over for whatever you need to bring.I hope this project takes off and I can plan to add more tents. I highly recommend White Duck for any size tent. You can tell they are very well built. My first tent has been up for 5 months now through North Carolina winter with snow and rain. No mildew or leaks. The decks are dry as a bone.Thank you White duck!
I can put into enough words how satisfied I am of the quality and comfort of this product. It is truly made in America! It is so much fun to use that we sold our camp trailer and dedicated our camping lives to this superior to all- Wall Tent. The stove is a necessity for a happy Wife and an experience you had no idea could get even better! The costumer service for the product is also excellent. I had a question on the first set up trial and I was able to talk to a person on a Sunday. Then the guy sent me a part just in case I needed it. I’m just not used to this level of satisfaction anymore. Tyler
THIS IS THE WAY TO CAMP FOLKS!! This tent is simply amazing! So very versatile and setup is a breeze. We stayed in ours during a early spring rain storm here in Michigan, 33 deg and 20mph wind, but stayed toasty warm and dry inside while it was a wet & cold outside. Just fired up our wood stove to heat the 12x14 space and kicked back to play cards on the ***.can't wait to do it again. Think were buying the Avalon next!
Impressed
Heavy duty canvas, easy set up, quality materials. Overall a great tent. Used it for 3 days on a hunting trip in below freezing temperatures and 3 inches of snow. The tent has great waterproofing, and shed snow and water well. Kept us very warm through the night with a stove. No complaints! Great quality with a much lower price tag than well-known competitors. I hope as White Duck gets more well-known, they keep the same price point.
