Mechanism failure
I bought this chair because it was rated for 400 lbs after a few months the chair started popping and wood chips came out from underneath. Turning the chair over the motor was rubbing the wooden frame and the 2 motor wires became chaffed. the chair stopped working in the up position and I twisted the wires back temporarily to get the mechanism down now it's a non reclining chair!
