Cabinets are easy to assemble. I used wood glue on all the tongue and groove joints to give extra strength. The finishes are great on the doors.

The first cabinet took me about an hour, as I carefully studied the instructions as I went. The rest took 20-30 minutes each. They go together pretty well. My only complaint about the cabinets with one door is if you need to move it to the other side, it leaves marks on the side you removed the hinges from. The finish seems to be pretty sturdy; it is easy to wipe off any dirt.

Excellent engineering, and really assembly. We put several of these wall and floor cabinets in our laundry room, and will purchase again when the need asises.

kinda cracked on corners

Purchased 24Hx15Dx30W cabinet to be placed on top of an existing 72" high white pantry cabinet. Pieces/Directions fully suppled.Color and fit superb! Only problem, shelf that was packaged inside was functional but isn't deep enough. Customer Service is trying to resolve, which I believe they will. Would've given it a 4 3/4 rating except for the shelf issue.

Hard to imagine a better cabinet at this price point. We bought the gray for a small kitchenette and were so happy with them that we bought the alpine white for our kitchen. The cabinets are solid wood and the finish doesn't have the "vinyl" look that some lower-end cabinets have. The soft close features are nice. Assembly is relatively easy. I built them by myself. Once you've done one upper and one drawer cabinet you can do the rest without instructions. We received a couple that were damaged but returning them at Home Depot was hassle-free and delivery on replacements was about a week. Buying the decorative end panels gave a nice finish for the lowers. But I didn't find it necessary for the uppers. No need to buy the Avondale crown molding. The cabinets aren't built to attach to it, so you have to custom build a solution anyway. Overall I am extremely happy with our Avondale cabinets.

Hampton Bay RTA cabinets are very easy to assemble. The quality is quite nice although the plywood material doesn't seem a full 1/2 inch thick. That said, the material didn't have any bowing or distortion. The corner pieces used to assemble are genius! I've assembled a couple of types of RTA but these have the quickest assembly and with corner pieces on all eight corners of the wall cabinets, they are the most stable. In addition, the price for each cabinet beats all of the online cabinet sellers who will charge shipping costs in addition to the cost of the cabinets. I can't speak to the base cabinets but would expect the ease of assembly and quality to be similar.

Face split on two units

Put it together and when done noticed the face was split on the edges. It was a little tight but not forced. I got another one. Put it together even more carefully. This time the face frame split again; but it was on the sides where it wouldn’t have been seen as it was next to other cabinets. I believe the top and bottom pieces have a manufacturer defect cut a little too long. Also part of the plywood was peeling. I put that side facing up facing the ceiling so it wouldn’t normally be seen.

Easy to assemble. Should have or recommend glue at joints. Careful with the screws that go into the back if they don't center well they can cuase blemishes visible inside the cabinet. Great product for the price!

it is difficult to rate something that never arrived. delivery was absolutely terrible.

Doesn't match the pictures. Cheap stuff

arrived in a box but after opening noticed the frame was broken on it,,, must have been dropped sometime during shipment. not happy with product.

Easy to assemble, good quality. Like that they came with soft close hinges. Would buy again.
