I've been active in the plumbing trade since 1975, never before have I found a product that actually prevents and removes limescale in water heater tanks and gas tankless units.

Great product but don’t buy windows here

ScaleRX

I just installed the ScaleRX. Water seems softer, but i'll have to give this time. Easy installation.

Still complete normal maintenance on water heater

At the time of this review, it's too soon to tell if this device will work. However it was very simple to install.

Impressive appearance, time will tell if performance matches.

Probably won't know for sure for some months or years from now if in fact it is a truly useful device, but it is certainly a good looking product of robust construction.

I was a little bit hesitant to buy it because of the price (too cheap compared with the big systems/names)

Great RX scale !

I hooked up the Scale RX when I installed a Tankless water heater a year ago. Good price for 12 years warranty! So far It is good. My water heater working fine . I installed a couple more RX. for my friends' houses tank & tankless water heaters. I definitely recommend this RX conditioner.

Results without the maintenance

Nothing squashes the excitement of buying your first home like your first major appliance failure. My water heater had to be replaced 3 weeks after moving in. Our plumber installed a ScaleRX since I live in an area with hard water. 12 yr warranty, no maintenance and it will keep my precious new unit running smoothly. Sold!

The ScaleRX has been installed upstream of an intermittent use...

The ScaleRX has been installed upstream of an intermittent use water heater. While only 200 gallons has been put through ScaleRX, there currently is no evidence of scaling in the water heater filter. Time will tell, but ScaleRX appears to be preventing scaling. A higher review will be given later if the good results continue.

Great Customer Service

I honestly haven't had the device installed long enough to say if it works or not. What I do know is their customer service deserves as many stars as possible to give! I had a problem after installing it and emailed the next day, the office called me within an hour of the email, left a message saying that one of their engineers would call me to give me some advice. Again less than an hour later he called me and told me how to fix the issue, and it worked. He even replied to my thank you message within 15 minutes!

It is hard to evaluate Scale RX since it has only been installed for a few weeks. I do wish that each end was 3/4 male and not female. It would make it easier to seal with a gasket. Teflon tape works ok but had to redo it twice before it sealed.
