The stools were easy to assemble. The seating cloth could be better, it feels like a mixture of corduroy and chenille.

I brought these bar stools because I thought the color of the seat was going to match the color of the seats on my dining room table chairs. That's what it looks like in the picture on your website. To my dismay the color of the bar stools is lighter in person then what your website shows. It shows a darker color seat on the website. Also some hardware was missing. I order 4 bar stools and only received 3

I really, really like this stool

I purchased two of these counter top stools. Ordering was very easy and they arrived 2 days later. All of the parts and an assembly tool were in the boxes and assembly took about 30 minutes for the first one but much faster for the second one. Hint: put the screws in and tighten about half way until you get the entire stool assembled, then alternately tighten screws until they are are tight. I found it easier on the second stool to do Step 2(screw the legs to the foot rest ring) before Step 1(attach legs to the top base ring) and then go to step 3 and 4. The stools are sturdy and well constructed. Seat cushions are a light biege and are very thick and comfortable. I am very pleased with my purchase and with the hayneedle customer service.

Kitchen Remodeled - Fabulous Bar Stools

We remodeled our kitchen last year and added a good size center island with the sink. We extended the granite counter's overhang on one side so we could add bar stools. So happy with our purchase from Home Depot - the American Woodcrafters bar stools are very well made. The antique white bar stools swivel and the color matches almost perfectly with our canvas painted cabinets. Definitely would purchase again!

The rotating mechanisms on 4 out of 5 stools ended...

The rotating mechanisms on 4 out of 5 stools ended up needing several additional washers to create enough space to swivel. I had to hire someone to purchase and install the washers, and make the adjustments, so I was disappointed about that. But now they are functional and look beautiful.

Comfort and Space all in one

I am lucky enough to have a island in my new kitchen but did not want stools that took up too much room. These are PERFECT! and slide under the island instead of taking up floor space when not needed for that clean look we all want.
