Very Satisified

I have this bedroom set and needed another nightstand. I was more than happy that it was still available. The transaction was flawless, and the item is perfect!

Disappointing

I had been looking for a nightstand that would coordinate with our guest bedroom cottage style furniture for a long time. I was so happy to find the Cottage Traditions nightstand online at Coleman Furniture. When it was delivered and we opened the box, we discovered that the pull out drawer had not even had the joints glued on one side, and during shipment the drawer had shifted and we couldn't even remove the nightstand from the box. You cannot contact a live service rep at Coleman...I had to send an e-mail. We received a response telling us to take photos of EVERY label on the box, photos of the damage, a description etc. and submit those online. We did what was requested, however, we continued to receive e-mails (from a different person every time) asking for further information. After exchanging a number of e-mails, we were told to keep the nightstand and they would be sending a replacement drawer. That drawer arrived a couple of weeks later...and the guide rails underneath that drawer were not installed square to the front, so the drawer couldn't be fully closed. So...more e-mails to customer service over a period of several days. At this point we asked for a refund, but were told we would have to pay shipping to send the nightstand back. Again, we never spoke to or wrote to the same person twice. At this point, we were so frustrated with explaining and re-explaining that we asked a carpenter neighbor if he could repair the drawer. He did, and we paid to have that done.

Other brands would kill to get ratings as high as reviews about the Cottage Traditions Nightstand!

The Nightstand I purchased from 1StopBedroom furnitures Cottage Traditions goes well with our MCM collection and vintage chairs. It is so well made, sturdy and the materials are all natural.
