Wow this looks so Vintage it matches my Kitchen perfect. It’s very light but at the same time it will serve the purpose I bought it for. Very quick delivery too! My Romeo loves it too. Our bread stays nice and Fresh.

Love, love, love this bread box! I bought not to hold bread (though as a note for those buying to hold bread-it looks like a long loaf of white or wheat would fit into the box but in a slight "U" shape but a " healthy" smaller artisan loaf of bread would be a perfect fit with upward room to spare.). Meanwhile, I bought this to hide my treats from those who like to plunder. It has a really good seal which surprised me as a thought it would just slide off and on which would have been fine simply because what I'm hiding is already prepackaged. But if I were to eventually use as an actual bread container it seems like it would stay fresh and keep pests at bay. Do not regret buying. Definitely beautiful if galvanized is your thing as it is mine!

I love the bread box but I thought it was going to be larger

Had to repair it----the rivets holding the hand to the top were broken when I received it.....easier to fix it than try to get it back in the box and returned to the Post Office....
