Great stool but ...

Ordered 2 stools. Went to pick them up and one had shipping damage. Lowes refunded the money on the damaged stool but I will have to reorder another one to complete the set. The non-damaged stool was fine.

This is our second purchase of Amisco branded stools. The stools are exceptionally high quality. Somewhat tedious assembly for the swivel seat. The seat is well cushioned and extra wide. We selected backless stools to save space in narrow townhome kitchen. Grey is a grey taupe and legs deep espresso to black. We have also owned Amisco Roni stool but wanted backless to not block view of windows.

Great quality; easy assembly.

Easy assembly. Shipped on time with all parts/pieces. Came with allen wrench although I did get my drill out to speed things up. Great quality.

Solid bar stools. You made need to tap them a few times to even out the legs so all 4 of the feet are even with ground. There are directions in box on how to tap them if needed. 2 of the 8 bought were a bit out of spec from the shipping process. Pretty easy to put together. I did 8 of them in an hour or or two. The black color in the picture is a little darker than what they look like when you get them. The stool legs are a bit more of a lite black color. Swivel part works great. These stools are bit heavy as they are very solid and well built.

Pros: Seat is large, soft, swivels easily. Footrest fits my husband's size 14 shoe. Frame is substantial. Packaged and made well. Cons: Insert frame screws for swivel (step 4) with lock nuts facing up like the written directions; not underneath as shown in video. Taupe cushion is actually a medium gray in color. Frame shows scuff marks. Slightly heavy to lift.

Really comfortable and sturdy

We purchased two stools for use at our kitchen counter and they did not disappoint! They are well made, very sturdy, comfortable, and match the grey in the photo. I had a bit of a problem making the swivel base move so I could attach the seat, but once enough force was exerted to accomplish the swivel action, it was easy to complete assembly. I am really pleased with this purchase!

Heavy duty stools

Large, sturdy stools. Bigger than what I expected. Money well spent. Stool base is one single piece. Stools swivel easy and the legs do not rock. These stools will last. The seat fabric can be easily replaced in the future, it's simply stapled on.

Excellent product!

I purchased three of these chairs two years ago and they have worn beautifully. Very sturdy for big guys to sit on and still swivel - yay! The vinyl seats are tough and easy clean so can take a beating from the grandkids. Quite comfortable to sit on and look great. Just purchased the fourth chair now that we have a bigger island. Matches great and same fantastic quality. AND, these are made in North America, Canada to be exact. Haven't seen anything else close to this quality that you can buy on this comtinent.

Comfortable, roomy and well made

These stools are great! We had two and got two more. They are really well made and go nicely with the Amisco dining set we bought. The seats are extremely roomy and comfortable. They spin around nicely and are easy to clean. My kids sit at them constantly for breakfast and snacks! They spin on them too and they've held up great! I would definitely recommend them!

Amazing

These chairs were EXACTLY what I was looking for. I had an island and wanted chairs that were comfortable for any size person sitting on them. They are holding up fantastic and look great. I love how they swivel. Great feature for small spots

The stools were a great purchase as replacement for my old stools. These stools are very sturdy. The swivel seat allows for easy turning, especially in tight spaces. The seat is wide and comfortable. Great two tone colors. The only issue I have is that they are 2 inches higher (26") than my old stools (24") so I have to stretch a little higher to sit on the stool. Yet, I will probably buy 2 more. I like how they look.

Very sturdy chairs. The bases are welded which makes them flex less (and look better) than chairs that you have to bolt together. The unit comes with locking bolts for the swivel base. You have to remove these bolts and bolt the swivel to the base, then bolt the cushion to the swivel. Takes just a few minutes. Ordered 3 of these for our kitchen counter area. Will be great when we entertain versus having people standing in the aisles.

I am loving my new kitchen counter stools! They are super sturdy! The color is great! They match our stainless steel appliances. I was hoping they weren't TOO industrial, due to the fact my kitchen is in transitional mode. (We are not quite done with our project) ;) The best part... the seat area is a larger size, making them fit so many different seats! Everyone who has sat on them have been impressed on their comfort! THAT, THEY ARE!! SUPER comfortable! And, let's not forget to mention how easy they were to put together. I am VERY happy with my purchase! (Can't wait to install our flooring)

The product looks great and is very sturdy. One would expect as much from a metal frame. I was expecting to have to screw the legs into the frame, and all that. Nope, came almost fully assembled. Just had to screw the swivel to the frame and the swivel to the seat and done. Watch the lengths of the screws when you do that. There are 2 different sizes, long ones go into the seat cushion. The seats were a little larger than I expected from my past stool purchases, which isn't a bad thing.

I looked at these for a long time before I purchased. I finally launched my purchase during the labor day sale. They are sturdy and very elegant looking. the photo doesnt come close to how nice they are. The seat is wide so be sure to look at the measurements.

Yes, I would -- and did -- buy it again!

I bought this stool to accompany the two I bought last year for our long kitchen counter. Although not super easy to put together, the result is well worth the effort. These stools hold up very well, are extremely sturdy and the style works beautifully in our open floor plan (featuring more transitional, but eclectic furniture). By the way, the cushion on one of the stools bought last year had had some flawed stitching. When I brought it to hayneedle's attention, the company immediately sent out a replacement cushion. Now that's great service!

Looks nice but returned

The quality looks great however there was something off about this stool. The screws did not go in all the way and the bottom of the legs didn't have any plastic protectant on them. They were sharp and could damage your floors. I definitely recommend ordering feet protectors if you get these.

I would have given these stools five stars but I took one off because the seat cushion is not as firm as I would have wanted it to be. At first they are comfortable to sit on but after you are sitting in them for a period of time you will notice that they bottom out a little and you lose the support of the cushion. Very easy to assemble, the swivel works well and the plastic legs glide easily on a tile floor.

So impressed with these bar stools!

I was nervous about ordering these because the color is challenging to see accurately online. The iron base is more of a matte bronze which looks great. The cushion is very roomy and wide at 17 1/2". They are so comfortable and I get lots of compliments on them; they were just what I was looking for at our counter in a modern kitchen. The cushion is grey, but tends to look more grey/mauve. Very happy with this purchase and they were pretty easy for my husband to assemble.
