We were looking for sturdy metal swivel counter stools and these definitely fit the bill. They are very sturdy, well made, and are packed well to cause no shipping damage. They are heavy, lifting and moving is not something that can be done easily. They do come with a insert for the ends that allows for sliding on a flat surface with somewhat ease. The swivel does help with getting on and off without moving the stool. These are really solid, fairly easy to put together.

SOLID bar stools

These bar stools are solid and will last many years - even with heavy people! They swivel great and are super comfortable and look sharp! I bought similar ones about 25 years ago (former manufacturer) and they somewhat match in style. The 25 year old ones have held up, including the upholstery! Pay a little more for quality and they will last!

Very high quality, heavy and comfortable bar stools. Swivel quietly and easily, leather cushions are durable and attractive. Guests frequently comment on how nice they are at the bar.

Out of all the barstools I’ve owned over the years, these by far have been my favorite! They are super sleek, and I love that they slide right underneath the counter and can be “hidden” as opposed to a higher profile that shows and sticks out. Assembly was easy enough, and quality is good!

Great Solid Bar Stools.

I was looking for something solid and simple and these Bar Stools were the way to go. I am very happy with this purchase. You can't go wrong with these bar stools. They are sturdy and very well made.

Sturdy, attractive counter stools.

The quality of the stools is excellent. They are very attractive, modern, and almost industrial in a cool sort of way. They are very sturdy. Assembly was mostly straightforward, although some facts were missing from the instructions. This should probably be a two person job for most people, depending on strength and experience. We are very happy with this purchase and glad that they were made in Canada with American parts.

High quality and comfort!

This is the 4th Amisco counter stool that I’ve purchased. I’ve found them extremely well built, function well and comfortable to sit on. This one does require a bit more time and effort to hammer the glides on; but with our son-in-law’s help it was done with no problem.

This barstool is made in Canada. GOOD quality.

This is a good sturdy bar stool. It is a little pricey but it will last longer then the other stuff from China. I ordered 3 other kinds before I decided to pay more and be done with it!

We love these stools! Great construction and weight. Swivel seats are nicely smooth and not catching. The cushion is sufficient for most people.

These are very nice I got them on sale, but if your looking for quality stools these are perfect! Check the height measurements because they are tall, but they fit my kitchen perfectly.

Love the look! Fast Shipping! A few small nicks but we were able to fix them with no problem. 2 stars come from the wear effect on one of the stools after sitting in it 10 or 12 times after only 4 months. I’m scared to use them and I bought them to sit in so here we are with 6 bar stools that I will have to recover or only use very minimal. Again, only one has done this so far - I’m just nervous about the other 5. (I want to order a replacement for this one and maybe update again in a few months that is was just the one.) Trying to be optimistic.

The chair is sturdy and as presented. It definitely takes four hands to put it together. The instructions are brief and non descriptive. I would recommend to a friend as long as I was available to help her put it together.

Love them!! They are very heavy and look amazing! They have worn very nicely and the metal doesn't chip even when hitting the granite. The color is true to the picture. I got the dark brown with ivory seats.

Love these Clay Alder counter stools! They are gorgeous and match our color scheme perfectly — they look just like the pictures in person. The stools are easy to assemble, they swivel, and they fit just under the counter when we are not using them. Highly recommend!
