This rug is perfect! I bought the 14' runner to protect our newly refinished floors from our dog. I flattened out the rug using heavy books for about a week before putting it in the hallway. Since I don't have any furniture holding it in place I did purchase a rug gripper pad from a local store to prevent it from sliding. I ended up cutting up an 8'x10' rug pad since I was having a hard time finding a runner rug pad that was long enough for this runner. The rug colors are vibrant, and the rug material is good quality and comfortable to walk on. It so far has held up really well to being in a high traffic area. I'm really happy with this purchase!
