This was purchased in white for my deck. It stays outside in the winter and still looks great. Sometimes I put a hanging plant in it, and other times brances for the look I am going for. I am delighted with this purchase.

I really wanted to like this but the quality was not good. The finish was blotchy and the inside drain shelf was not moulded in but sat inside so it would slip if too much weight would be put on it. Not the greatest quality, returned it.

Just as it is pictured, well made and fits perfect next to the front door. Just be sure to weight it down in high wind areas. I simply bought a bag of sand, left it in the package and put in the bottom of the planter. Perfect!

I ordered 2 of these planters to match the window box. They are extremely good quality with a self watering option. As with all my Wayfair purchases they came quickly and did not disappoint. Make sure to check out the matching window box. It is spectacular!

I like the shape and design of these urns. I like that they have a "table" or "floor" built in them so you don't have to fill the entire urn with dirt. They seem relatively sturdy and durable. Yet empty they were light weight enough I could carry by myself. Despite the height they do not seem top heavy.

I could go on, because it is just perfect, and I seldom say anything is PERFECT! Just as described, but also loved the design, and how practicle it is, from planting a plant in it, or putting a plant in a pot into it. The drainage, and also putting water in the bottom for balance. A friend told me to put rocks in it for balance, but the water makes it easy to empty in the Fall. I truly love this purchase.

Perfect for packages

The price was so reasonable I jumped at the chance to purchase another one of these tall planters. These things are as versatile as your imagination can make them. I painted this one to match the house and made a few minor modifications and now use it as a "Package Pedestal" near the front door so delivery folks have a place to put some of the many packages we receive.

If you want quality and a classy look on your deck, oh boy, buy these. I have had them for three years and they show off your flowers beautifully. I got the white pot planters, tall and short both. They are just amazing and worth every penny. Thank you for quality of your products.

Made very well! Great price for the product quality. I’ve been looking at multiple retailers and this was on average $80-$100+ elsewhere for this size and quality. Packaged well so no damage upon delivery. Looks far more expensive than it was. No pix because I just had my handyman drill drainage holes in the insert so I will be filling with beautiful flowers this weekend. I would definitely recommend and I will be buying at least two additional for either side of my diving board. Great product thank you Wayfair !

I purchased two of these pots. One took off and it very beautiful, just what I wanted and we couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The other never took off and I noticed the browning of the plants so figured it was a drainage problem. Sure enough discovered the shelf separating the dirt from the water receptacle at the bottom fell into the bottom and it wasn’t draining properly.

Did not expect this!!! the quality of the planters are very impressive. I live in Alaska, generally we have to protect our planter (bring them in from the weather) but I intend on using them year round. I really like the option of flipping the tray (which has drain holes) in the event you do not have a pot long enough. Definitely changed the appearance of my front porch. Price is awesome!! I actually bought the match larger planters. Which I will use on either side of my Garage doors.

So far so good! Shipping was fast!! One of the boxes was a bit mashed but the planter wasn't broken or cracked. My husband did drill the holes in the bottom, per manufacturers suggestion. I agree that there are some very thoughtful features, such as the removable tray inside that is perforated for drainage. It's just a well made item. I'm really hoping they don't fade, but they do sit under an overhang, so hoping for the best. I will store them inside the garage for the winter to avoid extreme cold and exposure to snow. I'm of the belief that if you take care of something, you'll get lots of years of use from it. I'd recommend these planters. I purchased the Fairfield style.

My ideal planter

Highly recommend the Fairfield planters! Initially purchased from catalog (for a lot more than Target is charging) so I’ve had a few years to put it to the test. Has held up beautifully with no cracking or fading in full CA sun! Black finish fools people, does not look plastic. Reservoir helps plants survive that would otherwise dry out too quickly above ground. I am no longer wasting valuable water nor a slave to frequent watering, a true time saver. Tiny hole on one side allows excess water to drain so no worries of overwatering. I’ve purchased many pots and planters made from all sorts of materials but this has impressed me the most...which is why I ordered more sizes!
