Weird instructions/Not well made/designed.

The instructions are not very clear, pieces are not clearly labeled so it is hard to tell what piece is what piece. I mean from looking at the diagram and the picture off of Target.com I put it all together but then the parts come all in one bag. The basic design is every shelf is it’s own box and they are stacked on top of a small table, and the back it held together with some rubber bits and screws. If you try to move it 1 shelf acts like it will fall out. So not safe if you have children!!! I mean I like the way it looks but I have to go find some pieces to help hold it together or just make a backing for it. Very inconvenient.

Would not buy again

Pain to put together. Cheap processed wood. Each section is separated, added some glue to stick it together

A modern touch to your home

A few reviews were dependent on the fact they’re just boxes you put together, so I got strong double sided adhesive and laid that down piece by piece so they won’t shift! Instructions weren’t SUPER detailed is the only thing i didn’t love. But I highly recommend this piece! (Also, yes I painted it white. I used white ultra matte with a semi gloss protective coating and polyurethaned the top white piece for ultra durability!)

Perfect cabinet for a small space

This is a decent little cabinet. Definitely easy for one person to assemble. It took a while to put together, but what doesn't? The base is solid and it sits level on the floor, but the cubes aren't secured super tight together. They fit perfectly together, but you don't want to pick this up by the top and try to move it. The cubes are nailed together in the back, but they shift a little if you don't grab it by the base to move. The doors close well and stay closed with the strong magnets. I'm happy with this purchase.

Better looking in real life

Super cute. Complicated to put together if you don't set it out correctly. It isn’t held together very well, the pieces can shift. It’s seriously cute. We are buying a second one.

It's a super cool modern design and pretty easy to install especially with a drill (takes way longer with a hand screw). The quality is not that great (think IKEA), but I needed it for the foyer to place keys and mail, etc, so it serves its purpose great. I also installed a porcelain top from scraps I had because it does scratch easily.

1 Star

This thing is designed to fall apart. Literally. The sections are not joined. It's a stack of boxes joined by flimsy plastic strips.

5 Stars

This cabinet is very cute and easily assembled. However, it is smaller than appears in the picture. The cabinet is well made - very heavy.

This is a very cute little console. It was a bit difficult to assemble and it's hard to move because each shelf is it's own compartment. I wish there was a piece on the back that would hold everything together and make it much more sturdy. Looks wise it's great

Very trendy and useful item. I've used it both as an entry table and a tv console. I recommend using wood glue while placing the pegs together.

BEAUTIFUL CABINET!

Looks GREAT! Only thing is that the plates that secure all the compartments together are made of plastic instead of steel, so they can move around a bit. Still, awesome look. Time consuming to put together, but the instructions are clear.

Not very sturdy

Looks nice assembled, not secured enough for my tastes. My daughter accidentally knocks the cabinets out to the side consistently, more brackets would be better.

Disappointed!

The sideboard is not like the picture, and it was delivered with a lot of scratches. I am very disappointed!

Unstable!!!

Unstable cabinet! It looks modern and fancy but the structure is very unstable. Basically you are stacking up six independent boxes on the base and the only way of fixing them is to connect each other with screw ties in the back. The legs support is weak because their male bolts are directly screwed into the wood base, not into any metal counterparts. I already broke one leg. You will be able to find much more stable cabinets than this.

Labor intensive build but a great cabinet

Great little entryway cabinet with tons of storage. I was expecting a dark blue/grey and oak cabinet but the dark pieces are black. Still a great looking piece! Would have been 5 stars if it didn't take over an hour to put together

Piece of crud

Had I known the way this was assembled I never would have purchased. Even after fully assembling and having the back stable, the front is not stable at all. As in. When you move it all the pieces move too. Each box is separate so you have to Jenga all the parts together. It took me 2 hours to assemble. Total waste of money and time.

great product for the price

This is a really well designed and considered piece. All the shelf compartments are modular, it can be time-consuming up front, but once put together, it's well worth the effort!
