The seat looks inexpensive

Very sturdy chairs. The “wood” the seat is made of doesn’t look high quality but we added batting, foam, and stapled fabric to them for a designer look.

Not comfortable

They are sturdy and well built but if you have a butt at all they are not comfortable. Everyone slides out of them. If you are wearing shorts so not move in them because they will pinch your leg. If you’re really tiny and you may not have a problem but even my kids get pinches by them and slide out.

Great counter stools

These were very easy to assemble. I did all 4 by myself in less than 20 minutes. I love that they have a back, they feel very sturdy for our children. They’re great quality and go great with our kitchen. We got the off white color and were very happy with them.

Good enough

They’re a decent counter height chair for the price. It’s nice to have a back and they seem sturdy enough. They’re not beautiful or super comfortable but good enough.
