It’s gorgeous- the only negative is the pendulum doesn’t actually work with the second hand- and it’s off a beat.
Lovely clock the pendulum was hitting against the clock but decided to put a soft tab to stop the banging

Love the clock
So far so good. It is keeping perfect time, looks lovely on my wall, and isn't too noisy. I'm sure the batteries need to be kept fresh (other reviewers complaining about time), but so far it's great! Makes a strange noise every 40 minutes or so. Have not figured out what that is, however it is still working as expected.
I gave an ok # of stars because it looked nice, if it wasn’t covered by shattered glass!! Poor packaging. Box should have been put within another. They did give me a refund right away. Good company. But I’m hesitant to order anything fragile again from them. Not a great way for my husband to open his anniversary gift!
A must have piece for any living area in the home.
This clock is the perfect piece for my den area....I did not want a traditional round shaped clock...I really love it. The look is unique.

Looks as expected, but a bit hard to read clock face.

I love this clock. I had this same clock for 17 years before it played out. I looked many clocks to replace it, but finally decided there wasn't one I liked better than this one. Found the best price for it Overstock. But I am frustrated this point because I'm on clock #3. The first 2 stopped running within a month or so. It was as if the hands got stuck on each other, & they would no longer move. However, the pendulum always functioned normally. Clock #3 has now arrived. One of its battery springs is off, and the back plastic frame of the clock mechanism is broken. So I haven't even been able to see if it works or not.
Beautiful, but needs better packing
This clock was the perfect size and style for me. The wood is a redder shade than the picture shows, but otherwise I love the clock. The pendulum works nicely, and the clock makes a very faint ticking sound (so it won't bother you if you don't like clocks with a loud tick-tock).
It was a gift. They loved it!
