I love the country style look to these curtains. They are a good length and well made. I like to change out my drapery, bedspread, etc, twice yearly. I do one 'look' for spring/summer and another 'look' for fall/winter. I will use these for the fall/winter look as the colors are reminders of those seasons. I also bought throws and pillows to match.

The valance was everything I expected it to be. It was perfect for the bathroom window in our 100 year old farmhouse. Great quality and value.

I really like these valances but want to share a few things. I have very large windows and these valances are longer at 21 inches than most standard length valances. I considered shortening them but ended up hanging my new rods several inches higher in the wall rather than in the wood trim. They had a very strong odor and material very stiff out of the bag. Care instructions were to wash on gentle in cold water on gentle cycle and tumble dry on low and that no ironing would be needed-not at all accurate as they were a wrinkled mess. Ironing is essential. A 1 inch rod was recommended but the diameter of the loop is wide enough to accommodate a larger rod.

These are just as cute & colorful as they are in the picture! I ordered them for our guest bedroom & they are so homey & added a nice touch to the window. The room has Dijon mustard yellow walls with a country French flair to it. Good price & good quality for an inexpensive window valance.

The fabric is not as thick as in the photo. Its more transparent and the outside light comes through the valance.

There’s so much I like about these valances. First of all I love the patchwork colors they’re made very well. They come all pressed no wrinkles individually packaged in a Ziploc bag and put them up right from the bag and they look beautiful. I wasn’t sure how it would work with my bay window however I think it turned out very well. Love the valances love the service will shop with Wayfare again good experience.

This valance came yesterday and it is adorable. It is not quilted like the bedspread, which is better as it is not so heavy. It does have a liner. I did not purchase it when I bought the 3 piece bedspread set but loved the set so much I decided to purchase the valance. It is high quality and well worth the money to complete the look.

Farmhouse Chic

Love this valance......my house backs up to a beautiful, forested stream so I don’t like to cover the picture window completely and this has all the colori want without being a distraction to the lovely view out the window. I would recommend purchasing one more than you think you will need if you want the look shown in the photo. Very well made, lovely fabric.. so happy with this valance!

Loved the quilt set and just had to finish the windows. The floor length would have been so busy, so thought to use valances and it looks wonderful. I haven't my window sizes but did order TWO valances per window for fullness. They are tab top so pretty rod is required. They are embellished with tan buttons which are just charming.

Lovely Valance!

So beautiful and so well made!! I have purchased the bedspread and shower curtains in this same pattern and I couldn't be happier with their quality and beauty! Everyone who sees my home compliments the gorgeous curtains and valances and want to know where to buy them! Overstock is the best!!

Simple valance - works well

I almost did not order these as my windows are only 4.5 feet tall and the valances hang down 21 inches which does not work. However, a few minutes with scissors and a sewing machine gave me cute valances that fit my windows nicely. I folded back the tabs and used the fold to run the rod through. This left a green band with decorative buttons along the top. I shortened the bottom portion of the valances by 8 inches. Now they look great on my windows. I used a bit of the trimmings to make appliques on the small pillows that came with the matching quilt. I kept a portion of the trimmings in my mending box to use for repairs on the quilt should the need arise.

Antique Chic Valance

Cute valance, material is almost the same as the comforter I bought, but the lining for the valance is plain brown instead of the cute lining like on the comforter that has a pattern on it. Would have to do some sewing and cutting to have them fit my windows...they're very long and the tab hanging system is also cute, but would have to shorten the tab length. May or not purchase them.

Great piece to match Antique Chic bedding

I bought two of these valances to top a six foot window in a bedroom of my log home. It is so well made and looks beautiful. Very cute tab tops with buttons. Lovely match with the Antique Chic bedding set. It makes the room look warm and cozy. As usual for Overstock, very quick and efficient shipping. Super happy with the purchase.

Classy with a touch of country

I was unsure whether I wanted to order this valance and went back and forth for a while before finally just ordering it. What held me back? The coloring. I really wanted something like this but with white as opposed to the beige-ish background. (Beige looks dirty to me. LOL) With that being said, because the curtain panels I use are Ivory, this valance was absolutely perfect. It truly complements the curtains and the dining room. It is very classy but also has a touch of country to it. (That so describes me. :o) )

Bought 2 of these to go on 36" windows. Wanted them because they went with the quilt I bought in the same pattern. They match perfectly. BTW the quilt is a great find as well. Love the quality. I have a set of sliding doors in the same room and intend on purchasing another to hang there.

On a smaller set of windows I believe you could cut one valance to accomodate 2 windows. , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, Good quality as well.
