Beautiful replacement in my garage/DIY work shop for an old steel cover wall plate. The old one had been there for decades, and with years of humidity in and out of the garage, the old steel plate was really starting to show its age. This brushed nickel plate is not only gorgeous, but should outlast me. It’s also easy to identify in the dark when fumbling across three light switches!

This is a standard size Wall plate, so make sure that the one you are replacing is a standard size, meaning width and height cause if the original is over-sized it may result in you seeing the unpainted covered part of your wall behind the plate. This may mean you need to get touch up paint of the color of your wall to use on the now exposed areas. Luckily, I had one of those small jar sample paints tinted to your wall color you can get at Home Depot.

So HAPPY I made the "switch" to these!!

Just recently updated my "dated" condo with these beautiful (and totally affordable) switch plates....replacing the dingy old 1980's beige plastic garbage. Love how they look and affect/compliment the surrounding areas! A friend stopped by soon afterwards and glanced at the entrance-way wall and exclaimed "hey - did you just paint?" . I went on to tell him that I had painted two years earlier (haha!) and the only difference now is the new, awesome antique brushed nickel switch plates making the paint job seem new!!

These brushed nickel wall plates are exactly as pictured and very well made - not cheap at all. Wanted something neutral in remodeled gray and white master bath instead of white or ivory - these are perfect!
