Beautiful globe!

Beautiful, well-designed globe. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because we had to resolve a problem with one of the holes not fitting the screw. Hayneedle did a fantastic job helping to resolve the problem.

I do so love this globe. I truly did find enjoyment in the "How to Use and Enjoy" manual as well. Very interesting.

Loving my new globe.

I love my new globe. It's weight is perfect that I don't worry about my big dog wagging it's tail and knocking it over. It is beautiful in my living room and goes great with my decor. I would reconmend this globe to everyone I know. I think this will be the globe to be handed down in the family for years to come. Loving it.

Dream of a lifetime come true

Last Christmas, I decided to get my husband something he's wanted all this life: a globe of the world with a floor stand. Last summer while traveling we saw a beautiful globe on a Tom Torrens stand. The practical problems of getting it home kept us from buying it, but it was such a thing of beauty, we never forgot it. So I was delighted when I found the very same globe and stand on the [...] site. I ordered it just a few days before Christmas. It arrived on time and in excellent shape. Yes, it's pricey. But both the stand and the globe are works of art, the quality is superb, and it's a joy to use and look at. I've already learned a number of geographic facts I didn't know before! We couldn't be happier.

A CONVERSATION PIECE

I couldn't be happier with the appearance and usefulness of this floor globe thus far. My husband received it yesterday as a Christmas gift from me.
