Beautiful but no pressure

This unit is beautiful, but has absolutely no water pressure. The overhead rain is very soft and the jets are useless. There were not many reviews stating this or I would have went another route. Looks beautiful, but no gusto.

My shower tower won’t be installed for several weeks. I decided to “bench test” the tower in my driveway to set my expectations for the final installation. The shower tower comes well packed with rain-showerhead, shower arm and handheld shower in individual cartons. The assembly required is the connection of the showerhead, shower arm and handheld shower to the tower. I ran into one significant problem. The unit is shipped with a plastic threaded nipple and held in place with hex nuts where the shower arm gets installed. I think it is there to prevent vibration and damage to the glass panel face. The problem is that the plastic retainer has “flats” on two sides the hole in the stainless steel is not round either. I had to file out the flat sides in the stainless steel sheet metal in order to insert the shower arm. Having read the other reviews of this unit, I don’t recall anyone else having this issue and that seems odd. After assembling the shower tower, I connected the unit to a garden hose with two FHT-to-1/2 inch MPT fittings via a splitter and then connected the hot/cold flexible connectors on the tower to those fittings. Next, I tested all four of the diverter positions: OFF, handheld shower, rain shower and body showerheads (4). Given our home water pressure, which I would call "average", the result was about what I expected. It was probably affected by the anti-siphon device on the hose spigot and the length of the hose as well. I also set the diverter between the rain shower and body shower settings and did find a spot where water came from both. But that is not a real position on the diverter and the flow from both areas was weak. I mention this since the question about using both rain shower and body shower was asked by several people. The body showerheads stayed in place during the testing. I think you can count on them to stay put once you set them where you want them. I did do some adjusting of them to check the pattern. They move enough to combine the flow of the pairs of jets for a more concentrated flow if desired. The diverter and hot/cold mixer handle work smoothly. If you wipe your shower walls, fittings and glass after each it won’t be that much more work to keep this unit from forming water spots but if you aren’t part of that club this unit, or any other shower tower, will look less than beautiful as water spots and soap streaks build on the brushed stainless and mahogany glass. The final assembly will require drilling some holes in the tile shower walls to hang the unit on two stainless brackets. I was surprised at how narrow those brackets are given the width of this unit and that drilling holes in tiles so close together, namely one inch, could result in cracked tile especially when inserts are pressed into place. There is no paper template so measure carefully from hanger strap to hanger strap and check your drilling locations before you start drilling. Since the mixing valve is in the tower you or your plumber will be connecting to the hot and cold lines, almost always ½ inch copper, PEX or CPVC, terminated with ½ MPT fittings. That step will require cutting out drywall on the other side of the wall or removing tile to get to the plumbing that runs to your existing mixing valve. Remember, this unit has its own hot/cold mixing valve just ahead of the 4-way diverter (on/off, rain shower, 4-body jets, handheld shower). Overall, I rate it a good value at the current "Special Buy" price. I'm not sure when that ends.

Looking for a beautiful heavy rain shower with spray wand? Look no further, this is the right product. Assembly and installation was easy. Although, it was done by a professional but it took him less than an hour to complete the entire work. This panel has 4 fully adjustable and directional body jets. I love the fact that they are directional that way, you set them to your desired position. It has 2 shower control knobs in polished chrome. Also, has a wand for a close up cleaning. Finally, the icing on the cake, the beautiful mahogany style deco-glass giving it a high end look. This shower panel will transform any bathroom to a magnificent one. I love the looks and the water pressure from the heavy rain overhead shower is amazing. I love it and highly recommend it.

No water pressure

This unit is absolutely beautiful looking at it. However, the water pressure is horrible. Our home has amazing water pressure, so I know that is not the problem. We even took a hand sprayer from another shower that worked awesome and still had an issue. So there is something built into the unit that we cannot find restricting the water pressure.

We had to replace a similar older panel that got corroded after 12 years. This ANZZI panel looks very sleek but does not deliver a good water pressure, possibly due to the mesh filters installed in every feeding hose. Rain and hand showers are ok, jets are useless. I suspect we won’t get another 12 years out of this one, but it was a good bargain at a sale price (and we don’t use jets extensively after all)

This is a very high quality piece everything on it is very nice and feels very high quality and it looks absolutely great very nice and modern looking. It can be added to virtually any shower all you have to do is hook up the hot and cold waterlines and install 2 mounting brackets that hold it in place, you do also have to attach the 4 body jets, the extension for the rain fall shower head and the rain fall shower head itself and attach the side body wand all of which are super easy to attach. It is really nice that it has a Swiveling overhead shower with heavy rain water pressure technology, 4 fully adjustable and directional acu-stream body jets in polished chrome, and a hand wand mine came with the round hand sprayer which has 4 different settings, between all these it gives you a wide range of spraying options and it has a very nice high quality diverter knob to change between them all. It also has a thermostatic control knob to change the temperature to exactly where you want it and it has numbers on it to tell you the temperature that it is at. Everything about this unit screams high quality.

Great unit but their specifications are wrong. I needed to cover the two existing holes in my stone tiles from the two old knobs. The schematics gave the width dimension I needed but the unit was manufactured a quarter of and inch less. No I have s spot coved with grout. Told CS at MFR, did nothing.

The Monsoon jetted full body shower panel is the ultimate shower experience. The four body jets are fully adjustable and are very powerful. The overhead shower head swivels and provides a heavy rain water flow. The diverter works perfectly, switching seamlessly between the various components. The hand held sprayer is in a very convenient location. It has a regular flow and very useful to have. I love this shower column!

The Monsoon 57 in. 4-Jetted Full Body Shower Column with Heavy Rain Shower and Spray Wand in Mahogany Style Deco-Glass is amazing BUT buyers be ware - it is much more useful in a home that is currently being built and can be installed first, NOT as a replacement for an existing shower. IF you decide to replace with you existing shower head, you will not be disappointed BUT understand it IS NOT a plug and play, just hang on the wall, and you're set - NO - plumbing work is required, water lines re-directed and cut, tiles being cut to get to water and plumbing work inside the wall, and so on and so forth. SO, if you are a plumber/home contractor and can do the work yourself then great, but if you arent you will buy this and then have to pay a licensed plumber/contractor to install it.

Luxury

I cannot speak to the shower experience, because sadly I was unable to install this as a replacement to my existing tub setup. However, I can tell you it is of excellent quality (except the handheld shower) and build. My existing diverter, like most homes with tubs, is soldered into the copper pipes and the project would have required more plumbing work than I was willing to do. What was I thinking, that I'd install this product and give up filling my bubbler tub? Silly man! Sadly, I must return this magnificent product.

[Rewarded Review] Great Shower Addition

Overall this product will transform any shower, providing a number of features than a standard shower head. Installation requires a bit more expertise or experience with the need to install the water control/temperature control aspect of this shower. The rain shower head is different from a regular shower head as it really gives you a rain soaking wetness, unlike the straight pressure from a regular head. The spray jets on the main body work well if you don't want to use the shower head, or don't want to wash your hair, yet allowing for body washing. Adjustable to the angle, but cannot be moved side to side or up down, as the arm is fixed. The handheld shower is great, as we did not have one prior to installation.
