Did not perform as advertised used half the recommended dose to be safe. No change in water quality. Added the remaining recommendation and the fish started having breathing issues. Had to pump out half the pond about 1K gallons and refil as quick as I could.

I was worried about killing

I was worried about killing off all the algae in my pond while trying to clarify the Green water. I have a coating of black algae all over the cement finish which many fish like to eat but the green algae was a problem. After many water changes, the green algae kept returning with a vengeance so I added a half dose of AlgaeFix. It did a great job killing the algae bloom without killing the black algae. Now I use a half dose every week or two if I see the pea green color emerging. It works well with Webbs sludge eater tablets to keep everything clean and clear.
