I love this thermostat.

This thermostat works very well for my 2-stage heat pump with back up heat. It has a well designed display that is easy to program and use. The set up allows a temperature differential of between 1 and 4 degrees before the next stage is initiated and also has a staging rate setting that controls how long the system will run before additional stages are called for. I also have the outdoor temperature sensor which allows the user to select the temperature to switch to back up heat when heat pump operation is no longer efficient.

It's okay.

My complaint is that it switches from my heat pump over to the furnace too quickly. If it needs to raise temperature more than a couple of degrees in the morning you'll see that little red led come on soon that it has switched to your auxiliary heat source. I'm not in that big of a rush.

Easy setup and install, no "smart" features, and none wanted.

The soft buttons on these units fail after a few years. This is clearly a design flaw as shown by numerous similar complaints. Since the swap over is very easy, one ends up buying a new unit every few years. If I were to have a new one installed, I would not choose this model.

This stat fit my air circulation needs perfectly.

Works well with the UV lights I installed. It runs the fan for 10 minutes if there is no call for heating or cooling making the UV lighting more effective.

Very pleased with product

Very pleased...great fit for my needs! Wanted a thermostat with a Programmable cycle so I could set custom temperature settings throughout each day, a Circulate setting so the fan would come on each hour to help even out the upstairs and downstairs temperature, and an Automatic Changeover for cool to heat since we often need both in the same day. Has battery backup so it remembers your settings through power outages. Easy installation.
