After a few uses I noticed that the pot has a deep pin hole that goes through to the bottom of the pot. Since I only use plastic cooking utensils and only prepared Mac & cheese in it a few times I can’t help but wonder if it was defective from the start.
Loved it initially. Loved the color. Loved the size. Used it a few times and the color started chipping off. Very disappointing.
High quality and extremely easy to clean. It is a little heavy at 14 lbs. Made some of the best beef short ribs I ever had. Great value as well when compared with other higher end pots. Would highly recommend.
The first one was chipped but the replacement was perfect. It was a hassle to return it, of course…it’s heavy and hard to be lifted and toted to a mailing station. I however, it’s a beautiful color and the price was right for an every day kind of braiser.
As for these pieces of cast iron pots that I have been purchasing, they are unique. They are beautiful. The cook with a serene of love, when I place my pot on the fire to cook. I don't have to worry that my food is going to burn. It mixes it's wates. Depends on what I'm cooking. I don't have to put a hole lot off the water product in there. I thank you for these beautiful pieces. I have purchase from time to time. I am surely enjoying each and every piece off the wayfair casion plots.

It is just as wonderful as all of the rest of the cast iron pots and pans that I have. I think this one has completed my collection. You will not be dissatisfied with this purchase. The price is absolutely perfect for a part of this quality. It’s actually a steal.
