Good water, be patient

Water taste good, it has passed the "wife test" as she is big into our water quality. The installation had a few hiccups - mainly the waste drain is different size from faucet than from filter unit. I installed this unit to supply the fridge (water dispenser and ice maker). All of the Synflex lines are same size, EXCEPT the waste adaptor is larger so I adapted the 2 lines to fit tight and into the drain. Second is the size of tank and filter unit BARELY fit under sink with the disposal unit - I had to adjust the drain traps to make it fit. As expected the flow is slow and gets slower pretty fast. This is the same as the last unpowered RO unit I used. Overall I like it, main improvement would be flow rate, minor improvement would be to use same size plumbing.

Great tasting water from a better designed system

I just moved into a new house and had used two Aquasana filters in my old home, naturally ordered a new one for my new house. I really love the taste of the Aquasana water and it filtered out some heavy metals in the well water at my old place. Now I am on city water but still the taste of the filtered Aquasana water is great! AND, I love the design of the new Smartflow RO system. So much easier to replace filters.
