This is not even close to being taupe. It's gray. Light charcoal gray. Very disappointed. I really wanted this for my TAUPE bathroom.

Lovely color and high quality container. My only complaint was that it was a little small. I originally purchased as a q-tip holder for bathroom but it was too small for that so I am using for jewelry.
