Looks great so far but because we just got it, we need to see if it will work well at night; illuminating my husband’s book but not shining on me! I’m pretty hopeful that it will solve the problem because the lamp has a very adjustable neck.

This is actually the second one I purchased. I had one at my bedside and my wife wanted the same one. We like the 3 brightness settings and the flexible neck.

Lamp stopped working - impossible to change bulb! Instructions are silent on this and there’s no clear way to change the bulb.

Found one exactly like this at Best Buy but was for about $10 more and it wasn't an Ottlite product. I love the ease of use, the long neck, the small footprint on my small desk top. I like the diversity of the low light which for most of the time it is all I need but when I need better light, it is there at the push of a button (if you can all it a button - it is more like a touch sensor). The product is very nice looking in additional to being functional. This should be the standard lighting. The only improvement would be to have not only the white LED but also a yellow light as well.

The lamp has 3 levels of brightness at the tip of your finger. 5. The lamp comes complete with company contact information to register the product for warranty and for when I am in need of a new lightbulb. The OttLite LED FlexNeck Lamp with USB is a unique lamp that works well. I have been using it for over 3 weeks. It was not what I expected, but it is a neat addition to my light collection. 1. I thought the lamp bulb was going to be larger. 2.I was expecting the light to shine differently than it does. 3. I was expecting the wall plug-in to be smaller. The product information was accurate. I would recommend this to the right friend.

Great lamp, bought at Costco, one for home one for work. Very flexible, great for technical illumination or small area light on a desk. At home, highest brightness is too bright, would like a dimmer range also. Would also be neat to have snap-in filters to cut blue light when using it for several hours at desk at night to eliminate sleep cycle disruption. Highly recommended.

helpful for site impaired

Purchased this item for my mother who has always had site issues and at 88 are getting worse. She loves this item as it allows her to see her keyboard at night which she wasn't previously able to do. She has since purchased another for her kitchen table and has told two friends with macular degeneration about the light to see if it will help them too. Wondered how many lumens this item is and whether Ottlite makes a high lumen rechargeable hand held spotlight.
