For reading closely, not for lighting up a room.

Be careful not to touch the lightbulbs when you reach out to turn on the lamp because the lightbulbs don't have a screen and you can burn your fingers. Good for placing next to us so after reading. But not for lighting up.

The light works as perfect as the over priced Ott lights. The price is very reasonable along with the bulbs as well. I will be looking for more of this brand in other light systems. The light was shipped safely and quickly.

Bad quality -- had to return

Nice design, good price, but 3 separate manufacturing quality problems, 2 of which were critical: 1: The wiring connection in the base was loose; when light was turned on, touching/moving the base sometimes caused the light to go out. 2: The bulb did not plug securely into the lamp socket; when light was turned on, touching/moving the lamb sometimes caused the light to go out. 3: The threading between 2 pole segments was crooked so when assembled, the pole had a small bend at the joint.

Disappointed

The lamp construction is great, nice heavy base and pole. But the light itself is weak and not up to the task. It manages to both be harsh and glaring, yet too dim to light up a work area effectively. LED would have been better I guess.

Glad I bought my gooseneck, natural light lamp

I like my gooseneck, natural light floor lamp. It was easy for my daughter to assemble. Lightweight..had no trouble carrying it to my bedroom by myself. I think natural light is better for my eyes. I can read, and/or do my crafts (painting and coloring) much easier now.

Recieved on time. Base of lamp extreamly heavy..wasnt expecting that..it was hard for this old woman to put together alone. plus 1 of the wires was disconnected..took me a bit of time to fix but other than that I LOVE IT! I can finally see my key board, crocett n diamond art works n reading is much better now as well. TY. The other items I purchased with this are Xmas gifts for grand kids...so review will b on hold till Jan 2024. sorry

Sunlight floor lamp

I got one of these lamps at a garage sale and the light finally burned out. I was so disappointed because I loved the lamp. Gladly I found the same lamp, only now better quality with metal, not plastic body. It arrived several days earlier than quoted. It was very easy to assemble, and now I’ve got my bedside lamp back. Couldn’t be happier.

Easy to assemble. Directions were clear. Inserting the 4-tube CFL lamp took a little effort but mainly because of my being cautious. Lamp fired up right away with expected intensity and color. So far, a good product at a very good price.

We had trouble with our sprouting sunflowers in the greenhouse due to pests. The only solution was to purchase this lamp and sprout them inside. That said, WOW this was a game changer .. I was able to complete the HUGE sprouting project with the help of the Trademark Deluxe Sunlight silver floor lamp. YAY

Very Unhappy purchase.

Put lamp together and does not light up can't tighten base and has no cover to go over the bulb. Asked about taking it to Walmart Cairo, GA to return or get a bulb was told no can do. I now have a lamp that I purchased as a gift for my Mother just sitting taking up space. First item I ever got that I cannot get exchanged at my local store or get a very expensive replacement bulb for.

Searched and read reviews looking for a simple inexpensive light that would allow me to work with colors after dark. One review liked this lamp better than the more expensive Orr light, I bought two. My daughter needed one for art work with pencils with fine color variation. This is meant to provide light that shows object and color with crisp clarity. It is not meant to light up a room. Works well for yarn and floss color selection. Also works for doing jigsaw puzzles in low light situations making it possible to see color variations and fine detail. No problem putting them together just go slowly and carefully when threading the pipe pieces together. Snapping in the light bulb was tense for fear of it breaking but it did snap right into place. It would have been safer to wear gloves. Yes I would recommend or gift this lamp.

Sturdy lamp. Nice lighting.

I simply began needing more light to read. I went through some of those eye-glasses with the lights on the side, but they had my neck at an awkward bend in order to read. Not good ! I recently bought this stand up lamp and I love it ! I placed it behind my chair. The area of light it covers is large. If you move the gooseneck around, you can adjust the intensity of light you need. It is on a nice, heavy, sturdy floor base. I am older and have arthritis, especially in the hands. This thing was a cinch to assemble. I love my lamp.

This lamp is great for sewing and projects, too!

I LOVE this lamp. I use it for sewing and projects similar to that. It is the perfect height for working at a table as well as when I am working on my couch. The adjustable/flexible neck allows you to have the light at just the right height and have it at the perfect angle. The flexible neck makes it so you can eliminate shadows that I sometimes have a problem with when the angle of the light cannot be adjusted....with this lamp, shadows aren't a problem. The other thing I like about this lamp is the color of the light. Some lamps seem to distort colors of the fabric or items I am working on, but that hasn't been a problem with this particular light.

Bright and throws light far into room, love it!!!

This is the BEST sunlight EVER. You get a very large light, and very bright. It's SO bright, you have to veer it slightly away. My son and his fiance were so quiet , and we have the cold, dark winters. But with this lamp, they were alive and laughing and enjoying the benefits. I want one next time. These are seriously functional lamps. 6 months later: update, still going strong! Awesome sunlamp.

Good light, but some assembly required!

This thing is awesome and has the same feeling from the light as I got from my old full spectrum flourescent from Canada that isn't made anymore. I'm gonna show you how it comes packaged tho because I took this pic when I opened it surprised at how much assembly is required. As you can see with the little specialized box of lamp fitting parts, it does NOT come in one piece:) That plus the fact it doesn't have a dimmer like my old lamp makes me rate it only four stars, but that's better than having one of those dimmers that just makes the flourescent bulb buzz, so just know it only has on and off. Looks good in black and the neck is very adjustable.

Lamp gives great light and looks good too!

Great floor lamp. Replaced an old Verilux desk lamp which I loved. This lamp gives me even better light than my old one. It gives me great light coverage across my whole desk. Great looking lamp. Had a little trouble putting it together. For some reason the two lengths of the pole wouldn't go together all the way, but got them together enough to hold. I would buy it again if anything happens to my hold Verilux floor lamp. The full spectrum light is so good.

I just went through one of these lamps and I have to caution you about one aspect of them that is really annoying. You'll notice that in NONE of these pictures, they show the cord. That's because it is TOO DARN SHORT. You might as well just suck it up and get an extension cord right off the bat because what happened to me is I did NOT do that, and as a result, I stepped on the cord and tried to move the lamp while vacuuming, and this messed up the electrical connection at the base.

Since I partially make my decision about a purchase with the help of other reviews, I'm finding it easier than expected. The reason being so far I have enjoyed my 15-20 purchases from Overstock. To begin with delivery always come in a timely manner, due to good packaging, even delicate items I have ordered have never been damaged in the least. Lamp shades never bent, color choices correct, etc. As for this floor lamp, no complaints of any kind. Never purchased a floor lamp that offered such excellent lightening and I am ready to buy 2 more, a table one with a goose neck and another floor lamp to enjoy! If you are shopping for a lamp in an area in your home or office that requires better lighting, that's easy on your precious eyesight, I would highly consider this reasonabley priced lamp!

GREAT READING LAMP

I only gave it 4 stars but I REALLY do like this lamp. I bought it for a reading lamp in my bedroom "nook"...it is amazing! It provides super light and no shadows. I'm sorry I didn't purchase one years ago. The only downside is mine doesn't appear to be as straight from the base to the beginning of the gooseneck. as in the picture. I might have someone try to readjust the poles for me (probably was MY fault when putting it together). My only disappointment is the fixture is visible; I would have preferred a glass cover over it. This does not affect how it works, tho. You don't see this until you are sitting down. This is just me, tho, being a bit picky. Great lamp, however, and I doubt this would bother most people. I also like the fact that this light fixture can be replaced. Some I looked at could not be and once the light went out, the fixture was useless.

I bought this for one of my employees who has SAD and recently was moved to an office without windows. It just arrived so we haven't had a lot of time to test it out yet, but this is my initial reaction to the product. - It was easy enough to assemble. It only took about 5 minutes from the time I took it out of the box, to the time it was plugged into the wall. It's not nearly as tall as I had hoped it would be. I knew it was only going to be about 4' tall with the neck bent over, but it's still pretty low for having it over an office desk. It's also not very bright. My employee is a seasoned light therapy user, and that was her first comment. She wishes it were brighter. - We'll give it some time and see how it goes, but if you're using it to combat Seasonal Affective Disorder, you may want to find something else.
