I love this mailbox pole its my second purchase. I have one and I bought this one for my neighbor. Mailboxs make a big impact on curb appeal.

Black Aluminum Mailbox Post

This is the best looking mailbox post in my opinion and I'm replacing the one just like it that was ran over. It took a while to receive but worth the wait, however, I am now waiting for handyman to install. I hope it works with my mailbox because I prefer it to any other.

The post is short and was thus less stable in the ground. The wood is rough and probably should have been sanded. We used wood finisher to seal it. And not all the wood is red. Large patches are yellow.

Nice design. It replaced a vinyl plastic stand which had cracked by I believe someone striking it. This aluminum replacement should eliminate that potential p

The post was easy to install. Required a 4x4 that was not included but looks good and will last longer than the original wooden post.

It is even better looking in person than online. Just one observation: I didn't realize that the post is a sleeve that fits over another post such as a 4" x 4", so be aware.

Missing ball finial

Customer service does not answer you have to leave a message. Two weeks to get the post and now have to wait for another two weeks for another post if customer service doesn’t respond

The mailbox post kit arrived complete with mounting and installation hardware. It looked durable and is a attractive addition to any residential property.

The cedar post was a little rough, but I was fine with that (others might have wanted it more smooth/sanded). Using a small sledgehammer, I was able to easily drive the metal rod into the ground, and the mailbox post fit nicely on top of it. I put an oversized mailbox on it, and, after two coats of stain/sealer, everything looked very nice. The metal rod doesn't anchor the post the way cement would, but I was happy with the results.

The packaging allowed the post to arrive with a few small dents. No finish is applied to the inside of the horizontal arm, which is visible from the street. Pieces fit together well after the post top was bent back into shape to mount the finial. The finished post looks pretty good.

Absolute junk

It's a 4x4 post with a 4x4 piece on top. That part is fine for what it is. But, the post that goes in the bground is stupid. It's a thin metal rod. I've got mine in hard clay. Like when you dig you need a pick hard. Everytime you poull open the mailbox, the post rocks a little bit, getting looser and looser.

Mail box post has been installed for about a month now. It was shipped very quickly and was easy to install. Followed the directions and a few videos. Very sturdy and looks good.
