Nice lamp wish it was a bit brighter

Adesso Aries Floor Lamp
Everything about this floor lamp is high quality except for the shade, which is made of plastic. Otherwise, it functions as advertised and seems to work well with LED bulbs.
It’s what I expected and has good weigh too it.

Looks good and brightens the room.
worried about acrylic cone and 150w bulbs
150 w bulbs run hot and the intial location of the sockets put the bulb touching the cone. Luckily the sockets bend a bit so now they're not touching. I haven't used it much yet but it went together smoothly. Styrofoam cleaned up ok.

I didn't love this - was very cheap feeling.
Annoying clicking noise every few minutes
The lamp looks good and is easy to assemble but makes an annoying clicking noise every few minutes.

Adesso® Aries 300W Torchiere Floor Lamp
Lamp is nice and sleek. Steel/silver color is very stylish and modern. only downside is the lampshade is plastic. 300 watts max is nice and bright. I put in LED bulbs 150 watts each.

This is our second Torchiere lamp and we like them as they give good lighting with LED bulbs.
Wish I could have bought American...
Only give this product two stars, because I wish I could have bought American... but no one in the USA makes stuff like this that I can find. It's functional for the price. Reasonably sturdy.

Nice look, but the On/Off knob is SUPER CHEAP!
Ordered online for delivery. It's securely packaged, and arrived damage-free. A nice sleek look, and it was easy to put together, but my problem with it is the on/off knob. It's super cheap, and not well constructed. I have to turn it two or three times to get it to come on, and again to turn it off. I may just use the plug at the outlet, and avoid the switch altogether. There are better lamps for the price!

Over all, the Steel Torchiere Floor Lamp does meet all my expectations, however the lamp switch itself is somewhat difficult to turn on from low to high and off.
i would buy these lamps again.
i use these lamps for subdued lighting while watching television. they work perfectly!!
