They are time consuming to put together; however, have a lot of nice amenities like inner door lock, external hasp lock, lifting lid (for use with trash receptacles) and seem very well engineered. Without a floor, you will need to create a base (we used painted plywood) unless you are putting it straight on the pavement.

I usually do t give bad reviews unless there was a major issue. And this shed was not what I was hoping for. First off the instructions are not easy to follow. The panels are so flimsy. Put it all together and doors won’t close. Are not even at all. Build a platform for it hoping it would square it off and it did not. It’s pretty much not useful. I wish I would have returned it. But it was already put together and I was not about to take it apart.

The unit worked good for what we used it for after it was reinforced. We built a wood base with 2x4’s and 3/4” plywood and adhered it to the base. This gave it the weight it needed to keep it from blowing away and being damaged from the strong winds. It is not strong enough to stand on its own without support.

MUST FOLLOW DIRECTIONS EXACTLY

Two person job (my suggestion). I would recommend building shed on platform. I used 4'x8'12" plywood on 2"x4" with small support in center. Follow directions in order. Once final step is complete, if doors don't seem to meet up, slightly lift corners of shed one corner at a time and place shims or spacers under corner and you will see everything will align. A flat surface is necessary to construct, you can move to another location after. Basic skills are needed, use a long nail to align screw holes if they don't match up. Lots of extra screws and bolts included. We intend to line our shed with 1/4" plywood. **We are happy with the final product.

[Rewarded Review] Very lightweight

Storing firewood? Won't last long. Need bug-tight / water-tight out of the box? This one is not for you. Not just lightweight steel but flimsy structure. I'm using this as a generator cover on a raised platform. Lid screwed down, caulked and drain holes drilled/ enlarged and with limited use hopefully will last a couple of years.

Storboss™ Horizontal Shed, 6x3, Charcoal

This shed has so many things wrong with it that I have to trim this review down to only the worse shortcomings. I’ve assembled three other, larger Arrow sheds in the past and also designed and built a wooden shed, so I’m no beginner. Here’s a summary:

Decent but flimsy

Thus product is very hard to put together. Took 9 hours! The wind has Slowin the top open 3 times so I’m going to have to attach a top latch. I’m using this outdoor to store a generator and gas tank and think it would better inside a garage or somewhere without wind. It’s pretty flimsy overall. It’s been put up for two weeks and I’ll see how long it lasts through the summer and fall.

This product was very poorly packaged. The pieces/sheets are very malleable and prone to bending and the company commits very little attention to ensure those pieces do not bend. I have exposed parts of the shed for this reason. I would order online for pickup and check the package IN STORE before taking it home.

[Rewarded Review] Negative

Very disappointed in this shed. The siding was not much thicker than an aluminum soda can. The instruction/assembly manual was very difficult to read. The packaging was obviously damaged, with on end having been taped over. Several pieces in the package were bent.

[Rewarded Review] Time Consuming

We received this and opened the box and found a bunch of pieces bent and scratched. Very poorly packaged. Very time consuming to put together. It is very flimsy and weak until it's all together and it's very sharp. It goes together easily but you must make sure the base is perfectly level and square or the hole will not line up. It takes about 4 hours to assemble. I would not enjoy doing it again.

[Rewarded Review] Storboss 6x3 shed

Purchased to use as a pump house. Got it on a black Friday deal. Arrived quickly and went together very easily. Added 1/2 inch foam insulation board and weatherstrip. Could not have built a pumphouse for what we invested in this. So far it is solid and serves it's purpose well.

Missing and bent key parts.

Several key parts were bent and less than straight. Missing hinges for top, purchased needed parts at local hdwe. store, in order to complete assembly.

Nothing beats the price. That said; be prepared for time invested in putting it together. Cumulatively, took me 12hrs over a 3 day period to put together. 3-4 hours of that was peeling the very thin plastic film on the parts. Regards to Home Depot, the original shipment I received was missing the hardware and small pieces. I assume I received a returned item. I lost a week waiting for a new one to come and UPS to come pick up the returned item. Good product for DIYers.

Cheaply made

You get what you pay for with this shed. It's not very solid, very thin aluminum. But the worst part was not having all the pieces to put it together. There was a hinge missing we had to go buy. Then part of the front door aluminum piece was also missing and so I called customer service, they sent it out in a few days and sent the wrong piece! Needless to say, we had to order it again and are still waiting for it to arrive so we can finally finish building it. I bought it to store an adult bicycle outdoors.

8 hours to assemble, 2 of those peeling plastic

Like everyone else says, it feels flimsy until it’s assembled, and there are like 200 screws and washers so it takes some time. I did assemble it myself but help would have been great. There were some extra screws and I reinforced the doors. I got this second hand, in the box, no parts missing for 30% of the price listed here and still unsure if it’s worth the price. Now that I put it together, there’s extra value to me because that was a solid 8 hours of work.

Decent final product. 5hr assembly. Packing awful.

There are about a million screws in this thing. Set aside about 5 hours to get it together. Some of the holes where too small to thread the screws into; I kept a drill handy to open them up a hair.

takes time but good metal shed

i am not a handy man but i can read and follow instructions. this product was delivered without care. so parts will be damaged but pliers will straighten most of the smaller demaged pieces. you will need 2 people to build. takes a good 4-5hrs to assemble. its only been about 2 days fully built, so far its held up to a bad rain storm. i will need to water proof it more but looks good. tip: have a level and a square with you. once foundation is level and the base is square everything will fit. although the walls are thin, they're reenforced with bars. i will futher sound proof the inside. i built it for my 9500watt generator fits good.

We were very disappointed in this product. We purchased it as a shed for our two sons bikes, and it will serve its purpose, but I would not recommend it. The directions are difficult to understand and it has over 250 pieces of hardware (excessive). It took us 10+ hours over two days to assemble this, and we are very reasonable, handy people.
