Beautiful Lamp But Bent
I love this lamp so much - especially how heavy the base is along with the globes being made of glass rather than plastic. It's lovely but it came bent or something so one of the poles seems to lean into the other instead of straight. It is quite noticeable in person & someone else pointed it out to me. Unfortunately, it makes the lamp look a bit cheap/wonky since the two poles aren't parallel :( I am not sure what the issue is - looks like it's the U that you attach the poles to.
Great but one issue....
I love the look and these work for what I desire. There is no dimmer option which I find obnoxious. Bought a dimmer outlet plug with remote and now it's perfect.
Cool, but meh
I bought this without it having any reviews, but I figured it looked cool enough and I could always return it, so why not? Building the lamp was way more annoying than I could've expected it to be- the little red string tied to the cord to help you pull it through the metal tubes often came unattached, making pulling the cord through a 15 minute job only accomplished through use of a wooden skewer. And then you have to connect the cords while pulling it taught and trying to screw in the metal tubes together - ugh, it was difficult and annoying, but I did it. Oh, and did I mention the instructions were vague and nearly completely unhelpful? I had the whole thing finally set up after 30 minutes and now was the time to attach the glass globes on top. Again, the instructions provided vague illustrations about how to do that, and after I attempted following them, CRACK, one of the globes cracked! Luckily, the whole thing didn't shatter, and I was able to hide the side that the piece cracked off of, but I do plan on asking Lowe's to send me a replacement globe. The listing here on the website stated 100W bulbs be used, and I was thinking that sounded like a lot, but hey, what do I know? So I ordered 100W bulbs along with the lamp, only to find out that the max wattage was 60W, not 100W. I had some laying around, but the shades of the bulbs were different, making the whole lamp look less appealing, so I do plan on replacing both bulbs with smart bulbs to allow for dimming and color changing effects. Lastly, the taller "arm" leans in at about a 1-2 degree, which isn't much but is def noticeable. I tried prying it away a bit, but worried the metal would snap or bend. It's less noticeable if you turn the lamp so it's not directly facing the viewer, but isn't that the way it's supposed to be placed? Idk, it really is a cool lamp, I just wish it would've been less annoying to put together, better instructions with a warning about what might crack the globes, and that the taller arm didn't lean in a little. I'm going to keep it, probably, but buyer beware.
Great floor lamp!!
This lamp has a classic, simple design but makes a big statement! We love how it looks with our other midcentury modern decor. Highly recommend!
3 Stars
Lamp is ok. It came with all the parts and arrived without damage. Though I don't think it's worth the cost. The posts are a little bent and while the base is heavy enough, overall the lamp is not sturdy.
This is a beautiful, classic looking lamp. Unique design is different and that is a nice feature. Lights up a room well. Use it more for main light than an accent. That was a nice surprise.
