Horrible experience

Walmart cancelled my protection plan and stated they had no idea why it was being cancelled however they still shipped the item. Very disappointing. If they were going to cancel the protection plan, they should have allowed me the opportunity to say if I wanted to keep the item before shipping it

Very nice looking, hard to assemble

The table and chairs are as pictured on the web. The chairs are a very nice velvet,and the table is extremely sturdy. There are problems with assembly due to the weight of the table and base. Mine arrived damaged. Installation instructions are very hard to understand, and there were missing parts. The foot prong on the chairs break easily during assembly. Overstock.com, however, is extremely extremely helpful when you contact them with problems. If you can buy it assembled, you should. Great value for the money.

This preliminary review is based on the pending receipt of the merchandise. I'm tempted to give a lower rating because it is now 6 days past the "estimated" delivery date! 6 Days!! I understand 1-2 days late, but 6! To make matters worse, the transport company has the worst tracking system and transport route. Beware when ordering oversized merchandise. Stay tuned for an update once it finally, if ever, arrives.

Beautiful table! Looks gorgeous. We love it. It was well packed and carefully delivered. Delivery was scheduled by a service, and they answered my emails promptly. The chairs are nice with a velveteen feel to them, but are a very light shade of gray - not sure how they will stay clean. Chairs are time consuming to put together. It took my husband and daughter less than an hour to put together the table; each chair took about that long! The challenge with the table is that it is easy to damage the table when putting the dowels in. Also, at the time we ordered the table, it said it would arrived in 3-5 days.
