Beautiful furniture

Great furniture if you are looking for theatre furniture. It is not designed to lay down or get comfy. All you can really do is sit and recline. Good leather quality but serves only for TV viewing.

Awesome deal! I live in Utah and would've paid almost double what I ended up paying by buying from Homemakers. The furniture arrived on time and in perfect condition. We are very pleased!!

Recliner

This chair is super comfortable. They came out and set it up for us and took away the chair that we had just bought that wasn’t working for us. Their customer service has been great! Our salesman Daniel has been great to work with. We’ve been in there three times and always ask for him. Would highly recommend AFW.

Where is Customer Support?

Purchased recliner, and then was told it would be 2 or 3 months to get it. After 6 weeks I received a call stating the chair was in Phoenix and would be here in a week or so. Three weeks later it was finally delivered. The delivery guys were great but they couldn’t get the chair to work properly. Finally stating that the motor was bad. So they put it back in the truck and back to the store. Then to make things worse, they called the office and told me it would be another 2 months to get a replacement. No call from the customer service department to say they are sorry and will try to get one from another store or offer any compensation. So,I am not at all pleased with my experience and may just cancel my order.

Nice Chair

The chair is very nice. The only issue is that the lumbar support when fully deflated still applies too much pressure to the lumbar region. With my bad back it actually puts too much pressure on the spine area where the pain is. I bought this chair to hopefully relief some of the pain. It is better than my previous chair but I wish the lumbar support would fully deflate to where very little pressure is applied.

Leather recliner

We bought this recliner for my husband five months after lower back surgery. He needed a recliner with more lower back support and a non-rocking chair so he could get out of it easier. We tried several and our salesman showed us this chair. It was a little more than we planned on spending but the ease and comfort it provided my husband made it a winner! Not to mention the head rest on it that lets you lean back but lifts your head to still watch tv! The color and style were added bonuses! ❤️

Recliner Review

The Ashleyrecliner electric recliner has head, lumbar, and foot adjustments. However, the seat and leg rest could use fuller cushion support for better comfort. I proofing liked the recliner because it was a little firm. The firmness is comfortable for a short period, not for long sitting comfort.

Sadly this chair is not for us.

Not very comfortable! After a month we don’t like it. I bought two for my home. My husband isn’t thrilled with chair either. Lumbar and head adjustments are not for everyone! With or without those adjustments I get headaches because my neck isn’t straight. The control panel on the side is very inconvenient for me. The phone charger on the same panel is the best part IF you have a charging cord already plugged in then you can just reach for the cord.

Leather Recliner

I like my new recliner! However, the seat is not as comfortable as the model that I sat in at the store. I’m hoping that it will be less stiff and uncomfortable over time!

New Recliner

This chair is amazing! It’s very soft leather, has head and lumbar adjustment controls besides leg extension control. It’s also extra long when reclining good for anyone taller than 6’ tall. And, the leg rest is also extra wide! Talk about comfort! I highly recommend this most comfortable and good looking chair!

What I sat in on

What I sat in on the showroom floor was very comfortable. What was delivered was a brick! classic bait and switch so I called to setup a return and was told it needed to be broken in to be comfortable. The return would cost me 350.00 dollars due to return delivery charge and restocking fee of 15 percent. I will not live long enough to brake in this brick. Strongly do not recommend doing any business with these people you will likely regret it.

Love this Chair

The chair is all power and includes great features including legs, lumbar, recline and my favorite is the head. Normally, when reclining you must hold your head forward which gets tired after awhile. The head tilt supports the head whether sitting or reclining. We also purchased the matching sofa with identical features excluding the middle seat.

Not quite long enough

I bought this with an extended footrest- I’m 6’3” and was hoping it would be comfy enough to sit in for extended periods- it does not extend as far as I had hoped. My feet extend past the end. Mechanics of the chair are good though.

Very comfotable!

comfortable! Was a real pleasure buying this recliner from AFW. Their no-pressure approach let me try all the models without someone hovering. The chair is verycomftable and is quiet when moving to the various positions. I particularly like being able to adjust the headrest angle.

Comfortable and Attractive

I was looking for a very comfortable chair for a corner of our living room, and this italian leather recliner is perfect. The only thing I wish it did differently would be that the footrest come our before it reclines, but that obviously wasn't a deal breaker. Very happy with this addition.

Awesome Recliner & Couch

We have been searching for living room furniture for one and half years. We discovered American Furniture, our last stop. Hands down, we found this awesome recliner & couch! Fine leather, great quality & structure. We are very very happy!

Wonderful

We have only had this a couple of weeks. So far we are happy with the color and love the adjustable settings for reclining, neck and lumbar support. Hoping it lasts as long as our last set of furniture did from American Furniture Warehouse.

The major problems solved with an exchange.

Upon opening the back cover to clean out the fallen popcorn after a movie night I noticed something odd I hadn't noticed when unboxing and putting on the chair back out of the undamaged box. The chair "frame," made from OSB (oriented strand board) was broken, then overlapped and stapled with huge furniture staples. Then the polyester used to secure the seat cushion was stretched over the break to attempt to hide it. Something obviously done at the Ashley factory. The floor model that I tried out in the showroom I flipped up to look the frame. It was constructed from a decent quality plywood, not OSB. Being cheaper, OSB has largely replaced plywood in house construction about 30 years ago for some flooring, roof and wall sheathing , but is weaker and therefore thicker than the plywood it replaced. It is not structurally strong enough to use as framing material in furniture in my opinion as a carpenter and custom furniture maker.

Great chair

We were ready to give up finding a very comfortable recliner. Our sales person (Valerie) never gave up! She found us still trying recliners. Came and found us and said she has just the recliner for us. Did not take long to say, "This is it". Two great recliners we love!

Just what I was hoping for

This recliner checked all the right boxes. The power recline, along with power headrest adjustment, AND power adjust lumbar support provide the perfect support and relaxation WITHOUT the stress and strain on my shoulder and wrist to operate Manual levers. The top grade leather is super easy to wipe clean, and will last longer than I do!
