We bought the cooler to keep my wife’s medication on our trip, so we had to think through how to assure a consistent temperature during our journey. The key was the night before travel to plug the unit into the house 110v outlet with a few other items in the cooler that required refrigeration. It held a very constant temperature overnight.In the morning, we simply added the medication and plugged the cooler into the car’s 12v outlet and it held the temperature quite easily on our 6 hour drive. Once we got to the hotel, it was back to the 110v.The key is to let the 110v do the heavy lifting and let the car 12v simply maintain the temperature.Overall, easy to use, very quiet operation and fairly light. I would recommend it.

Pros:-Fridge does get cold and can be used as a freezer-When it works, it works well-Customer service is goodCons:-The menu is hard to set-Buttons are not tactile, but touch sensitive causing issues-Product is brittle, one broke within the warranty(was replaced) and the replacement broke outside the warranty. Compressor stopped working for the first fridge. The electronic system broke for the second fridge(due to a power cycle because the utility company cut the line) out of warranty after just a year of owning it.I've only had this product for two years. After one year, it was replaced cause the compressor gave out. I bought it for $240. Now it's $160. Is it worth taking a chance? I say no. I bought an Alpicool with an LG compressor(get the LG compressor) and I've had no issues. That fridge has survived power cycles and extreme heat. This fridge breaks too easily.....spend the money on a good one.

Noisier than the 1960s full size frig at the cabin. It worked well when traveling since there was added road noise but once plugged into an AC outlet it cluncked when starting to cool and was noisy till achieving the set temperature. On the other hand, it did keep everything at or near the set temperature and can hold more than I expected. I just wish it would run quietly.

We travel a lot. Husband is insulin dependent and we store his meds in it. Easy to travel with and no ice necessary! Easily transported from car to house! Can monitor temperature. Recommend

I've only tested it in the house so far and it is very quiet and works great. Doesn't take up too much space. It isn't too heavy when loaded with water and drinks. Set the temperature at 38°F and it operates between 35° and 41°. The only negative I've found is 16.9 ounce plastic drink bottles "can not" be stood upright.

I originally bought this to go in my truck during hot weather. We switched to dog food that arrives frozen and I have been using it as a freezer. It stays between zero and -4. Now that hot weather is back, I ordered a 2nd one that is identical so I'll have a cooler in the truck again.

I'm quite pleased with this. There's about a 4 degree variability in temp which is fine. I like being able to monitor the temp. Had one instance where it was in a closed parked vehicle for 5 hours. The display showed F1 and the temp had risen to 45. Considering the hot day and length of time, I was pleased considering it doesn't seem to have much insulation.

We bought this last year before a 30 day road trips spanning 20 states- kept everything cool the whole time, didn’t kill the battery on the car, we loved it. We’ve continued to use it in smaller trips, it recently came with us on our 4k mile, 2 week road trip, and we love having cold water, cokes, and snack in arms reach. The cord is long, it stays put on the seat, just make sure vents are clear.

Keep drinks cold in vehicle. Easy to use, works great.

It’s not as deep as I was hoping for but it has been a great purchase. It does a companion to the driving compartment of my semi. Being able to get an ice cold beverage at my side is so convenient!!

I like the simple functions on this portable fridge. You can choose between max or eco and I’ve had it on eco plugged into shore power so it doesn’t affect my power consumption. I like that it’s lightweight. Make sure it’s always on a flat leveled surface so it can run well. I haven’t hooked it up to my car or power station yet. I also have not yet placed it below 35 degrees. But I will say it does produce a lot of condensation when you have a decent amount of products in it. Not sure if this is because I’m on eco but if that happens you can simply wipe it out when you clean it. Lastly, I only had it for a little under a month now so I’m hoping my opinion on this fridge doesn’t change.

Used to keep foods at refrigerator temperature for car trips. Can be used w reg AC power or in car with DC (lighter). Cools down fast. Controls easy to understand.
