Way too heavy

Not sure who weighed this for the description, but when it arrived it took 2 of us to lift it into the house! I never bothered to open it because I could not imagine trying to secure this to a plaster wall, let alone add weight to it with objects. It had to weigh over 50 pounds on its own!

I got this for my daughter room so she can display her collection of figuring. It was easy assemble and feel steady enough. It looks so nice on the wall and she was so happy with it.

This shelf was perfect for my office/sewing room wall. It was a little tricky to hang, but if you follow the directions carefully, you shouldn't have any real issues. The directions came with a paper template to space the screws, and some wall anchors (but we used our own because they were better). Overall, I am very pleased with how it turned out.

Looks ok.

Really too heavy for the drywall screws that came with. The shelves plus whatever you put on the = heavy. Hard to hang and the photos don’t show this extra piece to put underneath to stabilize. When we caught all the screws it tore through the particle board on one side and slipped. I hope it’s secure and doesn’t come crashing down. Might add some small wall anchors or brackets on top to help.

Buy extra hardware and tape

Looks good up but unfortunately the particle board was breaking before it even got to the wall. We ended up having to tape the splitting edges together and buy L brackets to keep it on the wall.

Cracks at the edges

I saw some cracks at the edges. Bad workmanship and bad quality control. My husband does not mind and installs it already. The crew nuts cover are so lose. Overall i am disappointed on this online order

The shelving was good. The reason for not giving it an "excellent" review was because the wall anchors were not compatible with the weight of the shelves. It did not take into compensation the weight of what would go on the shelves. We had to go out and buy better quality anchors.

Cheap and poor design

Cheap and poor design. If you don’t get the mounting screws perfect, you will damage the unit trying to hang it. It is cheap particle board and looks cheap when it is hung. I wouldn’t recommend it

Don't buy

The shelving unit is fairly easy to assemble, but time consuming. The white screw covers do not snap in, each one needed to be glued. Hanging it takes two people as 5 screws need to be lined up at the same time. We are very handy, but our wall was not perfectly straight, so the shelf did not hang flush. The shelf is made from a composite material. Bottom shelf bowed down right away. The weight of the shelf is almost 30 lb. The weight limit for the shelf says 30 lbs., so it basically just supports itself.

Love the look of this shelf, it’s perfect on my wall. Only reason it has 4/5 stars is that it is difficult to hang. I put it together per instructions, but the middle horizontal shelves put enough pressure on the outside walls that the template included in the package doesn’t work. I ended up removing the inside shelves, hanging the outside frame, and then reassembling the shelves into the frame on the wall to get the template to line up properly. Definitely a two person job. Once it’s up there it looks amazing, though!
