Nice and quality comforter. But....

Nice made, quality comforter. I wish that cotton fabric were lighter weight and softer with little bit more wool added.The cotton fabric feels unpleasantly hard to the touch and not fluffy. I expected sateen feeling, which not there.

Nice Quality

This comforter is the best I have ever had. Perfect weight. High, high quality wool and cover. I use a linen duvet cover and remains warm and breathable. If really cold I throw a blanket over top. I plan to use year round. Make sure you handwash- I am not a fan of dry cleaning

Second wool comforter we have ordered. Great quality, soft cotton cover. We use this year round. Hot summers and cold winters-this works perfectly.

Very nice quality comforter. It's not to heavy weight and would be great three seasons. Want to note it's dry clean only so I'd recommend a duvet cover

3stars because of Macy’s backend issues

The blanket is nice. Please make sure to compare its size to your duvet cover if you are planning to use one. My lower rating is because of issues with Macy’s backend: I ordered full/queen and received email confirmation for the product. Then king arrived instead and after spending 1,5 hrs with Macy’s support chat(which is glitchy on mobile phone) I had to send it back. Support was adamant that I ordered king tho all Macy’s emails to me said it’s full/queen. Looks like the product is mislabeled on the website/warehouse and dealing with support was difficult.

Wool for winter!

For cold winters in Wisconsin, you can't lose with this luxurious wool and cotton comforter. I love the fact that it is all natural fibers.

Great summer and winter comforter

This comforter is ideal for summer and winter. During the summer I pair it up with only a flat sheet and it is light enough to sleep through the night. In the winter I layer up with my cozy plush fleece blankets. Great year round comforter!

Perfect Comforter

Love, love, love this comforter. Have had it on my king bed for years and it is as perfect as the day I bought it. I live in WI and the comforter is perfect for winter cold and summer heat. Thin and not bulky, but very effective. One of my favorite items I have purchased.

Comforter is warm as expected, its weight is just ideal, not to heave and not too elusively light which makes it very comfortable. No shedding of inner contents and price was reasonable. Good choice.

This comforter is just what I needed. It's not overly fluffy (which is good) yet the wool allows me to stay warm in winter but cool and comfortable in the shoulder seasons. The stitching means the fill doesn't clump up either. It must be dry cleaned or line dried. I made the mistake once of tumble drying and had to buy another one.

Awesome conforter

I've had one of these for years, and I adore it. The cotton cover was finally starting to come apart, so I made a duvet cover out of flannel.

Great, but not for everyone

This duvet reminded me of ones I used while traveling in Europe. It's weighty but b/c it's wool, it does a good job at wicking away any night sweats. I like this duvet, but it will not be for everyone. First and most importantly, keep in mind that it is wool. This means it will be warmer, and the part that I didn't take seriously enough, it's dry clean only. Second, it's wool, so it does have a smell that reminds you that wool comes from a sheep who smells different from you or cotton...don't judge the sheep, it's an innocent, but do be prepared to air out the duvet (like the Europeans do). I am in the Upper Midwest, so this will be a great addition to the late fall/winter/early spring bedding. It is heavy and warm...if you live in the South, it may not be right for you. Four stars b/c it's dry clean only (though I've already tested out hand washing).

I did not want to purchase a down alternative duvet. This was an excellent option. A natural wool, cotton cover, perfect. Reasonable price instead of down filling. I’m very happy with the purchase.

wool keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer, no itching at all, the weight is perfect also.

Meh - depends on what you’re looking for.

I’m a quilter and this is really only wool batting on the inside - not very thick or warm, but breathable and light enough for summer. So if you’re looking for a summer comforter I’d give it 5 stars. If you’re looking for a warm winter comforter I’d give it 11/2 stars.

As seen on-line

Well represented on-line. The quality was actually better then I expected, and I love the weight of the comforter. I ordered the next size up from the actual bed size (King for a queen bed) and the fit is perfect. I generally prefer goose down, but chose this alternative and actually I am finding it to be better, for one thing the contents stay in place and I am not having to shake everything back into place. It is evenly filled with no cold or hot spots. Definitely would recommend. Addendum: I took this to the dry cleaners and they washed it instead. My King comforter now fits a child's twin bed. So definitely do not wash this comforter, and make sure the cleaners know the same or they will be buying you a new one like mine is buying me a new one.
