I like that it's both an a/c and a heater. It was a bit difficult to put the vent end that goes out our patio enclosure.

The set up was a real pain, the instructions are terrible and you can’t find anything online. They also failed to include the hardware for me but after waiting half an hour on the phone only to be transferred and start the wait over- I opted to just scrape together my own hardware and parts. I wouldn’t buy something big from Lowe’s online again.

It works

This unit works well for my little house. My dog is really enjoying the cool breeze. My set up didn’t have the window foam in it so I had to go back to the store to buy some but overall happy with this purchase.

This is the second portable air conditioner that I've gotten and I'll not go back to a window unit. This unit can be used in any room as long as the window venting kit will fit the window. My windows are narrow so I cut the vent board to fit the window.

[Rewarded Review] Aux AC 60 pound 8000 BTU White Portable Air Condit

The Aux AC 8000 BTU on rollers is the perfect size Portable air conditioner for my needs. It is big enough to cool a 200 square foot area and cold enough to do it quickly. After I opened the package and removed the packing material, there was very little to do before I could test it out. The two small manuals are easy to read and follow, including diagrams, one for the remote control and another for the portable air conditioner itself. This AC model includes caster wheels for easy movement which is a plus since the AC itself weighs approximately 61 pounds and is 13.8 x 16.57 x 27.9 inches in size with a decibel sound level of 52 DB. In addition it has two permanent built in hand holds and has window venting kits included for quick setup. Another thing I am happy about is it is a dehumidifier with an easy to wash reusable filter, this means you don’t have to buy filters but just rinse this one and reinsert it in the unit. I did notice that the AC lets you know when the drain pan needs emptying and there is a plug in back and a hose provided to take care of this.

This air conditioner does an excellent job keeping my 150 square foot office cool and it pulls quite a bit of moisture out of the also which is a plus for Texas. I would recommend this air conditioner if you are looking for a basic model without a lot of frills that does an excellent job. But if you are looking for one with more advanced features then look somewhere else.

I got this and was so excited to bring it in. Note it is very heavy so I recommend two people Carry in. After that the box was so simple to just take off then I could roll the unit with ease. I read instructions, placed the window mount and then turned it on. I am highly impressed with how well the ac works and looks. I love the pop out too for ease to store and not worry about getting dirty. I like that it comes with a drain tube to prevent water getting on the floor, the ease of using the remote as well as being able to set a timer. I highly recommend this ac for smaller rooms as it will work wonders. Built with high quality materials and was ment to last. I can’t say enough good about this air conditioner. It’s been an amazing unit to cool down a 200sq bedroom with ease even in the hottest temps.

Everything seems to work great and it makes my 12 by 14 room cold. I think the noise level is fine. I like that it has a dry button and can act as a dehumidifier. My only question is the venting as it shows a diagram telling how not yo vent. But my window is a ways off the floor, so my vent hose is not straight. Also where it goes into the window there are some holes that seem to let in some hot air. See my pictures. Love the remote control.

Very Quite Works Great

So far it works great. I tried a few other brands and they were way to load for the bedroom. This one seem to have to lowest db rating and it really is quite and cools our room no problem. Hopfully it holds up we really like it so far.
