The only thing antique is what this was replacing, but just what I needed to replace a pull-chain, ceiling-mount light fixture, and the satin nickel matches the wall switch plate! Despite thorough searches online and locally, I could only find this here!

Good ceiling fixture

This 4-inch fitter fixture comes with all the parts needed to put it up. The bulb socket is porcelain and surrounded with insulation to protect from excessive heat damage. This is not heavy metal, but looks good and is priced fairly.

I searched high and low for inexpensive but quality flush mount hardware to pair with a more expensive glass shade—and this was it. It’s simple, but it does the trick, especially when the shade is the main attraction. As a bonus, the hardware actually came with better and clearer installation instructions than any of the (many) other light fixtures I have purchased over the last few months. I was so impressed, I am going to buy more in different sizes and colors, and use them to replace all the ugly light fixtures in my finished basement, along with vintage glass shades I have found at local antique stores.
