[Rewarded Review] Nice cast irone pot

This is a very nice cast iron pot. I like That its coasted so its Easier to clean and you don't have to Grease it and put it in the oven. It comes with a lid that has a handle that stays cool that is very convenient. I would definitely recommend this pot and any other ones that this brand puts out.

[Rewarded Review] Nice Dutch Oven

I’ve had this product a little over a week and am in love with it. This is my go to pan. I just made mac and cheese last night and it browned perfectly. I’ve also made a small pot roast in it. The lid has rounded parts that allow condensing water to evenly redistribute amongst the dish. The outside material is nice. But be careful because it can be easily scuffed.

Nonstick cast-iron with seems like it’s gonna be a pretty good pot I could do some shepherds pie or some oven macaroni. I’ve only done a casserole so far but it turned out well , I like that it’s easy clean up no mess no fuss. This is a nice pot and a great addition to my pots n pans.

I have been wanting a Dutch oven or Braiser for so long and I am loving this Babish brand one that I got. Classic black cast iron look with beautiful handles and a very nice looking ceramic coating on the inside so you get an upgraded version of grandmas cast iron. To be honest, I have not cooked in it yet but I can tell that it is top quality. Very heavy, the outside glaze looks beautiful and the ceramic lining look great.

Really enjoying using this Dutch oven, I've been making bread and stew. The Enamel coating has help up great, and although it is heavy, it is very easy to clean. I have done tomato sauces, pot roasts, chili, soup, and a few other recipes with this thing, it works great!

I'm extremely impressed with the quality of this cast iron pot. It's only 3 qt but it has quite a dense, heavy feel to it. You can tell it's not cheaply made. While I was searing the chuck roast to prepare for pot roast, the pot got hot nice and retained uniform heat throughout the bottom, making searing easy and quick. I used about 2 lbs of meat and approximately 4 cups of vegetables. It fit nicely and fed our family of 4 perfectly. The 3 qt is definitely perfect for 2-4 servings without the hassle of a larger dish. Once in the oven with the lid, the roast cooked in about 3 hrs on 325° and it looked and tasted like perfection. The heavy lid sealed in moisture to retain steam and allow to meat to get so tender and juicy. The design of the pot is perfect. The easy clean enamel is cherry on top. I love a good cast iron but I'm converted with the addition of enamel! It cleaned up so easily. Everything from unpacking to cleanup felt like a high end experience. Worth every penny!

The Babish 3-quart cast iron braiser is wonderful. I just got it a few days ago and have already used it to make a casserole and pork roast. I have never owned or used any enameled cast iron pieces before, mainly because of the price, so I wasn’t sure about everyday use. It does come with directions and suggestions; the enamel is not scratch resistant, you need to use wooden, plastic, or rubber utensils, but otherwise treat like any cast iron. You can use on stovetop or in oven and cook about anything with or without the lid. The outside is black matte, and the inside is an off white, the lid is also enameled inside, and I really like that the handles are part or the cookware, I love the look, very nice. It is very heavy and sturdy and will last for many years. This is a great size for a family, everything cooked evenly and turned out great on my normal temperature settings.

[Rewarded Review] Surprised

I was very surprised by how well made this pot is made. I've never heard of this brand and was a bit weary. I made a potato casserole for the oven and it performed amazingly. Very heavy pot and lid. Enamel held up with all the cheese, cooked evenly and cleaned up with no issues.

[Rewarded Review] Great Cast Iron Braiser, but ...

I got this Babish 3 qt matte enamel cast iron braiser for my husband since he is the cook in the family and loves his cast iron pots and pants. He loves this one especially because the inside is enamel. You can cook things quickly and just put the whole braiser in in fridge since it is not very tall. The only thing he didn't like is that the handles of the braiser and the knob on the lid are getting hot. Just be careful use oven gloves, otherwise would buy again!

I was looking for a smaller version of my Dutch Oven and this Braiser is perfect! I really like the quality of this less expensive cast iron pot. I spent a lot of money on my Dutch oven and the red enamel eventually started chipping off. This Babish 3 qt braiser is cast iron on the outside and a wonderful enamel on the inside. It cooked evenly and cleaned up really well. I would suggest wiping the outside of this braiser with a little oil to keep it looking and performing well. When you clean this pot, do not let it sit in water as it will start to rust and you'll be spending more time trying to get it off. This braiser is perfect for making risotto, chicken, roasts and many other dishes! It's also oven safe up to 500 degrees. The size is a great addition to my cast iron pots and I love it!

[Rewarded Review] I don't love it

I really WANTED to love it. I have some cast iron pans I inherited from my grandma and they're very old and will last forever. So I'm not new to cast iron, but this is my first enameled cast iron and it's just ok. I cooked steak in it, I started it on the stove and finished it in the oven. It did seem to cook evenly, as you'd expect from cast iron, but that's really where the similarities end. Some spots seem to be flaking off already after one use-which is disappointing. It's also a nightmare to clean; I soaked it for two days and still couldn't get it to come all the way clean because you're not supposed to scrub scrub it like you could with regular cast iron. I imagine it would cook a nice boule of bread, having the lid to keep the steam in, but I have other bakeware I use for bread. I'd say give this one a pass.

I have used cast iron cookware for decades including stovetop and bakeware. So, I am familiar with the pros/cons. I also know the benefits of it being enameled-you don't have to worry about water/acids corroding metal.

This cast iron pan is great strong quality! The black color is very pretty and a dark black. The lid is great as most cast iron pans don’t come with any. I highly recommend this set as I have absolutely no complaints once so every. My meat came out sooo juicy and crispy I wish I would have gotten a picture. 10/10!

Quart pan is really nice, I've been wanting a pan with a lid that I can use in the oven for a long time now to make roasts and casseroles in and this is just what I needed, this is a really good quality pan, perfect size, it's not too big and it's not too small, I absolutely love it and I love the fact that it's cast iron, it will last forever, I definitely recommend

This Enamel Cast Iron Braiser is wonderful Quality! It is heavy but durable and not to big so it’s not hard to move. The enamel held up well and cleaned up well with just hot soapy water to soak. Less than 1 min and food released from the bottom and rinsed clean.

[Rewarded Review] Versatile and very good quality braiser

I love this braiser! The quality is really great! It has a lot of weight to it. It's multi purpose. I use it for deep frying, shallow frying and a lot more. It washes really well and so far there is no stain on it. Be careful with the handles, they get hot. This single pot can replace youe sauce pan, pot and dutch oven! So versatile.

I don’t know where to begin. This is the best Dutch oven pot! It’s durable and very easy to clean after cooking. It can be used on any stovetop or oven. I have the smooth top over and this is perfect! This is a must have for any cook. I baked chicken in the oven in no time. The lid fits perfectly. The handles are perfect. It is a little heavy, but that’s because it’s well made to stand heat. I love the black color. I love that it’s easy to clean afterwards. I would highly recommend this. Cooking is like a hobby to me and I would buy 10 more of these.

[Rewarded Review] Enameled cast iron pan with many uses

This pan is called a braiser, but it’s versatile. It fits nicely in the oven or on a large stove eye. It can be used like a Dutch oven, roasting pan, or cast iron skillet. It’s ideal for one pot meals like spaghetti or stew. My first recipe will be oven fried chicken, and next will be slow simmered barbecued beans. Use and care instructions are included. I’m “wowed,” love this pan.
