Easy enough to build, did not take super long just needed a lot of room to assemble everything.

Bed is very sturdy and well made.I didn’t give it 5 stars only because the directions were hard to follow,would be easier with written instructions step by step AND the diagrams.It took 2 1/2 hrs to set up a full size bed.And some of the slats were very warped.All in all,I love the bed

Deserves zero stars! Not sure if Overstock is selling new items or new "defective" items that manufacturers give them at a discounted price. I spoke to Overstock customer service prior to buying this to make sure this was a brand new item and not "damaged goods". I was told this was new. This was the cheapest price I could find and I regret not spending the extra money. This had so many issues that I don't even know where to start. The pieces didn't have holes aligned properly, which we didn't realize until after attaching the pieces -- then we had to take everything apart and create new holes to properly align pieces. Some of the pieces had dark spots which I couldn't wipe clean. The headboard top piece doesn't sit flush on the left side because the holes were't placed properly (again!). And the headboard panels don't match each other. What should've taken 2-3 hours to put together for 2 people ended up taking 6 hours because we had to keep taking pieces apart and try to correct the mistakes made by the manufacturer. When you're in the process of moving, you don't have time to waste. Not to mention, this was exhausting and frustrating to put together. Missing screws. Headboard looks crooked. Our new King mattress barely fits. If it wasn't so heavy to put back, take it all down to the 1st floor and return, I would've returned it. I'm very upset with this purchase and will never buy furniture from Overstock again! They should've labeled this "damaged goods" or "will need fixing" intead of lying and saying it's new! UGH! I guess you get what you pay for. Less

Beautiful good quality

We’ve had the bed for about a month. Putting it together was fine. We made a mistake so it took a little longer to get it together. It was hard to get the pieces flush with one another. Also we thought that the headboard was going to be higher than it actually was it’s a cute bed. But we also know we have to move soon (yay military!) and we’re not looking forward to having to take it apart because of how intricately the pieces mold together. We won’t be able to take it apart easily and put it together. I don’t know that I’d get it again

This bed is a BEAST to put together but the instructions are very easy to follow. Definitely a 2, sometimes 3, person project. Once it’s finished, it’s nice and sturdy. No noises or squeaking(yet lol). I gave 4 stars because I noticed chips here and there in the colored pieces but nothing that noticeable. Also, the 24-26 boards you have to drill into the base was a task and some screws did not drill all the way through. Nonetheless, we’re satisfied with this buy.

Nice bed frame but

We ordered the king in shabby white. It is nice and sturdy. The slats underneath are in half, meaning there is double the number of slats that need to be secured. Because of this we will probably leave the bed frame in this house when we eventually move. It would be too much to take everything apart to move it.Also, if you have a heavy mattress (most are) it is such a hassle to make your bed. You have to lift each corner of the bed onto the bed frame to secure your sheets. I've "mastered" it at this point but it still sucks every time.Doesn't squeak after a year of use, and hasn't broke!

I found this need under another name for twice the price and uncovered by reading reviews home depot had it significantly cheaper under the name Baja. This bed is absolutely gorgeous. It took awhile to put together but the assembly was easy. Couldn't be happier!

This bed frame is SO SOLID. It comes in about a thousand pieces and took by boyfriend about 2-3 hours to put together with a drill, but so worth it. Solid wood, beautiful, high quality. Not cheap particle board that will get knicks. I get compliments all the time and say it's the cheapest bed I could find that was solid wood and I'm SO glad I chanced it.

Pretty Impressed

My shipment was delivered two days apart. I had no idea it was going to come in two boxes. It ended up not being a problem because my husband was home and we were both able to carry the heavy boxes upstairs to the bedroom to put the bed together. The only drawback that we found was that the footboard did not have the pre-drilled holes for the brackets holding the support boards. Other than that it was fairly simple to put together. Definitely needs to people. Seems darn solid.

Love this bed!!! It’s very pretty in person, the perfect amount of distressed white. This bed is fairly heavy as it’s solid wood but it’s super sturdy. There are a lot of parts and does take a bit of time to fully put together, it took my husband and I a little over 2 hours to get it completely set up but I love it! Great quality for a decent price!

This was a disaster!!! None of the support rails lined up even close. I had to drop the brackets on the headboard down almost 2 inches from where the pre-drilled holes were in order to make the slats sit flat. The support bars are also super flimsy so i had to make supports for that. Also some of the pocket hole screw holes were drilled to far up the piece so the screw didn’t have enough bite to do anymore than rip some wood out. Same as the bedside tables the only reason I kept this is the weathered white finish looks amazing. Don’t buy it you are not handy enough to fix all their terrible prep work.
