We ordered 7 Balmoral mailboxes
We ordered 7 Balmoral mailboxes for our street. I assembled them all and installed them all. I am very impressed with the quality of the box how well they are designed. Everything ligned up and fit perfect.
Very nice mailbox, as it should be at this price point. However, the external plates, the addresses and monogram, are intended to be attached with what is essentially double stick tape. The plates have nut plates drilled, and there are drilling points on the box, but if you wanted to attach them correctly, you'd have to drill holes in the box, then go to Lowe's and try to match up appropriate bolts for the plates. That is unacceptable for a $600+ mailbox.
