I ordered this sideboard after purchasing the matching bookcase. The quality is good for the price, it looks great and has a ton of storage. I recommend using a drill for the assembly, it makes it go much faster. The only issue was the glides for the bottom drawer were slightly bent so that drawer sticks a little bit and is harder to open/close. Not a deal breaker but that's the reason for taking off 1 star.

A divine MCM piece!
The Banting sideboard finished off a kitchen renovation perfectly. I’m using it at a drinks cabinet in an adjacent room, and was able to free up 3 kitchen cupboards. Wow, has that been helpful! It’s an exact replica of a ‘70s piece my in-laws had (and which I coveted). BUT, this was a nightmare to assemble (especially when I thought it came assembled). We followed the 14 steps in our 26 page instruction booklet and it took 3+ hours to put together. The last piece, a door hinge, was faulty and I still don’t have a replacement (ergo, the 4 star rating). In the end, we used lots of muscle to get everything evened up and the door works satisfactorily. The interior is spacious with adjustable shelving, and the drawers are nice and deep. To net it out, we love the sideboard. Customer service? Not so much. Less

I give a good rating because it’s a very nice looking piece of furniture. Assembly wasn’t difficult for 2 people. Some predrilled holes didn’t match up, some of the screws were missing. 24 bolts for the shelves, only 2 were in the package. Waiting for parts now. Power drill is helpful.
