Nice with flaws

Bought this as a gift for my 81 year old mother. It is attractive but it ROCKS and doesn't glide. So, it's very unstable. Also, the headrest does not articulate as advertised. The lever to recline is hard to close, especially for an older person. We are returning it but I wanted to warn anyone else out there looking at it.

This is great in my small den. It reclines, swivels and is comfortable. Great addition as need additional comfortable chairs for family and tv viewing.

I love my Barcalounger Recliner! I had been looking for quite a long time when my daughter and I went to NFM. We had certain qualities that we wanted and some we didn't want in purchasing a recliner for me. Our sales associate, Ernesto, was most helpful and patient with us. I finally settled on the Barcalounger for the following reasons: Perfect color; leather; very comfortable and it rocks, swivels, and can recline with out any effort! The handle on the side is very easy to work! The chair is so comfy! It is my only chair that I will sit in all day...and not be tired (well most of the day, LOL). One of the biggest selling points is the way it looks; it looks contemporary without the extreme design. My son-in-law loved it so much that he bought one for him within a week! Now that's how much we love this chair!

This chair leans to the right and is very noticeable, and the armrests are different heights. It is comfortable and functional, but my concern is... will it last? No quality control.

We are very happy with the looks, durability and comfort of our new Barcalounger recliner. One bonus feeature we didn't realize until we got it is it doesn't take up nearly as much space as the recliner it replaced.

Very uncomfortable.

Beautiful piece of furniture but the rocker part makes it impossible to sit comfortably unless reclined. Then when you go back it feels like there is a log in the small of your back. I was trying to sit in it, but it made my back hurt a LOT. I returned it.

We sit in it. It looks great but is not very user friendly - you have to push the handle clear to the floor to get the feet up and there are only 2 settings - straight up or sleeping position. If you try to move it to a comfortable sitting position it won't stay - it just sits back up again. It is well made with great quality leather and it does swivel, rock and glide which is nice.
