Item does not match illustration, will return
In the online diagrams/illustrations, this looked like a perfect match to replace one of our soft-close dampers that had worn out. Opened up the box, and it was quite a bit different. The box it came in says it's "for tracks without holes." That is not what I thought I would be getting.
Terrible instructions. They don't tell you that this kit is for 2 doors, how to attach the brackets and to which surface. YouTube had a video with a similar product but it wasn't detailed enough to follow. Will be returning product.
Good Product, Terrible insrtruction
This soft door closer works well. Place a closer at the open side and the closed side. A 32" door only needs on latch. The distance between the door and the rail is critical for proper operation. The screws that come with it are not long enough to last, get longer screws.
This was a horrible Barn Door Hardware ever! Instructions were like having no instructions!! Really wanted them to work!! When finally installed, they closed nicely but extremely hard to open the door not matter how adjusted. I sent them back. :(

These are alot harder to put on. The set screws are on the inside instead of the outside & you have little room to work with. I have put up 3 other barn doors & all 3 soft closes had the set screws on the outside .

Horrible Instructions
The instructions are quite confusing & contain literally zero text. It's all just pictures. I have no idea how to install these and i built the barn doors, hung them, etc so it's not an issue of inability.
