They are nice and real good size, bought 3 of these to put over the pool table, these are the kind you plug in, so no need for wiring if you don’t have overhead electrical.

I absolutely love this light. It's just what I wanted. Part of my room was added on and no light was wired for that half. I have a lamp on my nightstand but it was not enough light. I started looking for a swag light and came across this one. It is so perfect for my room. I have it hanging over my bed.

Let There Be Useful Light!

I use this in my garage workshop. This light has a sturdy metal shade that scatters light evenly downward. But I painted the inside white to reflect a lot more light than the as-received black painted interior. The cord is almost twice as long as on the average such product, giving a larger height or distance range for reaching the optimum location. The hanging clips are simple to install and adjust for height, and require no tools (except to mount the hooks). Well packed and arrived in perfect condition. The in-line switch is positioned conveniently near the plug. Highly recommended.
