This motion sensor light is ideal for my dark hallway. Its neat and blends in . I dont fix it to a permanent position so I can change location if needed. A good buy.

So far, so good. This is a perfect motion-sensor light! It's bright and reliable. It comes on as soon as I enter the area for my unlit basement stairs. The basement light is at the bottom of the stairs and I needed some kind of light while I descend the stairs. Mr. Beams you're the man!!!

These Motion LED night lights work well. We placed them at the bottom of each of the staircases in our home and they provide ample light -- not too bright - and they stay on just long enough -- when walking up/down the stairs in the nighttime hours. We recommend them, especially if you are concerned for your safety, as we were, when using the stairs in the middle of the night.

Works Great

I needed lights to illuminate the top of the staircase to prevent falls. I used these lights on 3 staircases. They work on motion sensors and photo cells. They work great. We are very pleased and feel safer. Easy to install, either with sticky strips or screws and anchors provided. Each light uses batteries. No electrical connectors and will work if power goes out.

Very happy with this. On a whim, I ordered another Mr. Beams motion activated LED with 35 lumens, thinking it would be much brighter than the 20 lumens on this unit. Wrong! Not nearly as bright for some reason, and needs 3 x C cell batteries to operate! I returned the 35 lumen unit and am waiting for 2 additional 20 lumen that I just ordered.

Mr. Beams lights work better than expected.

This is a pretty nifty light system. I keep one in the bathroom to avoid blinding myself during late night visits. Also another in a dark corridor. Nothing to set. Just install four AA batteries and place in position. The screws holding the battery cover are odd. It seems to take a long time to tighten them.

[Rewarded Review] Motion Cannot Be Directly Toward the Sensor

I needed this light to activate when I got out of bed so I wouldn't trip over my dog on the way to the bathroom. The light is bright enough to light both my bedroom and hallway, however, the motion sensor did not turn the light on as expected. Because I have drapes and a computer hutch beside my bed I had to mount the light so that I would walk toward it before turning to go down the hall. The light senses motion across its path but not directly toward it. This light should work perfectly fine for most applications, but not all. I will return it. I rated it 4 stars because of Mr. Beams quick response.

Illuminates approximately 5" square area. Light is not bright, but sufficient for my needs. Basement's lights are insufficient to illuminate bottom 4 steps. Device is located on ceiling of stairs. I temporarily used tape to secure it to find most appropriate positioning. I considered using the larger, brighter and more expensive model, but this item is ok for my needs.

Beams MB720 - Not Impressed

Unit claims up to 15 feet of motion sensitivity and 80 hours of light on a set of batteries. My experience in a upstairs hallway is closer to 7 feetof sensitivity. Hours on a set of batteries is difficult to calculate for a motion sensing night light. But if it's on for 10 seconds as someone passes it - 80 hours is 288,000 seconds divided by 10 - it's difficult for me to imagine that someone has walked down that hallway over 28,000 times in the past 3 months and the batteries are dead.

$10.98 MR. BEAMS night light lasted only 1 1/2 years. No way to get repaired - Waste of $$$'s - Short life

LED Motion Sensor Night Light

We have an oak stairway and we both have on ocassion missed the bottom step as we descended them at night. I bought a 120 volt light for about the same price as this one, but it would require cutting through the oak wainscoting and running an electric line and outlet box. Before I got to that project I found these. Two AA batteries and double-sided tape and it was installed! At night as we approach the bottom step from either direction the light comes on for 30 seconds or so and then goes off. It worked so well I bought two more, one for the lan∂ing and another for the top of the staircase.

This product does exactly what it is suppose to do. I have some dark areas in my back yard and this light helps lite up so that people can see and it is at a location where there is a step and it lights up the steps so that people are able to see where they are going. It also gets enough sun to keep batteries charged. It has a great design, it works, and I will see how it woks when the weather in Minnesota gets severe. I would recommend this product to anyone who asks.

First of all, I really do like this light, but I would hesitate to call it a night light as it is really quite bright. I think that if it had some type of lense over it, it would better diffuse the light and create more of a soft glow rather than a flood light effect. That said, it does light up the area quite well and the motion and darkness sensors both work quite well. Overall, very pleased as long as you don't mind that it's bright for a "night light".

I absolutely love this product. I ordered this light due to the motion censor on it and have been well pleased with its performance. I have placed this item on the wall near the toilet of my boys bathroom so at night they have a light to see and make sure they can see where to aim. It works perfect. The light is bright enough to light up the toilet area but not too bright to hurt their eyes in the middle of the night. Best product ever for a bathroom.

This is a simple light, with a bare LED shining down onto a flat white surface. There is no lens or diffuser. At eye level, you can't see the LED and there is not much glare, but if you mount this above eye level, there is a lot of glare from the exposed LED. That limits the placement, but it looks like it's really meant to be mounted low.

First I am writing about the MP 720 model motion light. Note there are multiple models for this light. I found it very easy to install on our pool deck under the cover of the Patio porch as to not get it wet. It is very bright and covers a good size area for what we need when we need to get something on the patio. I would recommend this for anyone no matter of their expertise as it is easy to install and maintain.

this motion activated night light works extremely well in our rather dark hallway where we do not have an outlet for a regular night light. The motion sensor works very well and the light is nice and bright. The timer works well, making nighttime bathroom trips must easier. It is easy to install and provides the light needed to negotiate dark areas.

We love this light! Before sticking this light on the wall with the provided two-way adhesive strip, we had to fumble in the dark to find the buttons to open up the garage door or turn the garage lights on during nighttime. Now, the movement of the door opening turns this light on providing a lot of illumination. The light turns itself off after a few seconds if it detects no motion. We don't know how long the batteries will last, but replacing batteries periodically is well worth the benefit we get from this automatic light!
