Don't deny yourself any longer!

I got the 20 lb version; it's amazing. I thought I was sleeping just fine, but I am sleeping more deeply and more readily, and with softer breathing. Because of the large knit, the blanket's behavioral properties are almost liquid, making it easy to double things up over the spots that benefit from extra support.

Treemendous Napper!

This weighted blanket exceeded my expectations! I was very hesitant to purchase due to the price point but it is worth every penny. I have used the glass bead type weighted blankets for years but they’ve become too hot. The Tree Napper truly is breathable & hard to explain why but somehow much more comfortable overall. I was worried about reviews stating the tencel was scratchy but I found the lavender to be very soft. I loved the lavender so much I ordered another in the bluebell & it is not quite as soft but still not scratchy. I have only had these for a few weeks so I cannot speak to how well they launder. Though expensive I am very glad I decided to take the plunge & would highly recommend.

Treat yourself to a good night’s sleep!

I first heard about Bearaby on the today show Hearing about how the company is run, how the employees are treated and the blankets themselves made me want one. I couldn’t justify spending the money until about a month ago. I’ve always had trouble sleeping,, but lately I’ve started having leg pain and night sweats. I read how the tree mapper would help all of those things. So I decided to finally purchase one after looking at them for the last two years. I’m so glad I did! It’s comforting, helps with the leg pain and keeps me cool. And my cat loves it too!

I have looked at this blanket for so many months because I didn’t want to spend the money on it. Had I just saved up the money initially I could have bought it months ago rather than spending all those months without this amazing blanket. I needed a cooling weighted blanket and reviews for cheaper ones were not promising. This thing does as promised! It’s so comforting and wonderful! I have had this blanket for a few weeks and I have yet to wake up hot!! I sleep more deeply than before! Now the problem is I want to take it everywhere with me, even to work. I only wish they had a dark grey color.

Excellent Quality Product and Equally Excellent Customer Service!

I could not be happier with this purchase. In fact, I haven't been this satisfied with a purchase in a long time. I'm not exaggerating. In the busy holiday season purchased this in the nick of time and paid extra for fast shipping then I got an email that it would arrive AFTER Christmas. I sent an email to customer service about how I was disappointed I paid extra for fast shipping for no reason and not only did I get a response, it was a quick response and personal and professional and kind. They looked into it and actually it was going to make it in time. The gift was my favorite item of the shopping season - excellent quality, more beauitful than the pictures do it justice. Softer. I did a lot of research on which kind to get and The NYTimes The Wired was right again - this one is the best. I was hesitant to splurge but am so glad I did. Worth every penny.

Love this!

At first I couldn’t get it out of the box because it was so heavy! Funny, I could cart my kids around all time when they weighed 15 pounds, but this was an unexpected 15 pounds! Also, my dog sleeps under the covers with me, and I thought it would kill her by smushing her to death, but I came up with a fix for that. It took me a couple of nights to get used to it (and the thought of schlepping it to the UPS store to return it was anathema to me), but now I LOVE it! I’m so happy with it! I got the tencel and love the silky soft feel of it. Also, it’s kinda of satisfying, like popping bubble wrap, to stick your finger through the holes. Very satisfying.

Tree Napper / Adventures with Weighted Blankets.....

Well, I initially bought a weighted blanket from Bearaby for my wife thinking it might help her sleep more soundly. She had mentioned she liked "weight" on her as she slept even though our late dog tried his best to lay on her against her will. As a husband I none the less aspired to "please" my wife so I bought her a weighted blanket for her to try. Her first "try" lasted .... approximately 1 minute before she announced, "it's too heavy" (I had bought her a 20lb blanket).

Love it so far

I ordered the gray blanket. I have been looking for a weighted blanket that wouldn’t be so hot at night. This one works really well. It’s soft, smooth, while being breathable. I ordered the 15 lb blanket and it’s perfect for just me. I do worry about cleaning it though as my washer won’t be able to handle it. I looked at the resources and recommendations for cleaners in my area who can do this. That was helpful. I’m already adding a velvet blanket to my wishlist for my birthday. I would love a purple one!

Happy with the purchase

I love my tree napper. I suffer from PTSD and claustrophobia after being in an accident approximately 4 years ago and I wanted to have the snuggle of it but I cannot have it totally covering me only because of my claustrophobia issues from the accident that I am working thru.

I really wanted to love, but…

As other reviewers, who loved this blanket have said, it does look lovely and you can tell it’s very high-quality. It absolutely kept me cool, which is unusual for weighted blankets. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this blanket, and I think it is worth every penny if you’re the kind of person who has a positive experience with a weighted blanket. I used this on my bed for sleeping, not for napping on the couch, so to be honest, I felt trapped most of the night. I’m the kind of person that’s always changing my sleep position and tossing and turning, this blanket made me feel trapped and gave me anxiety instead of taking it away like it’s supposed to. I thought weighted blankets, are supposed to prevent, tossing and turning and create a calming sensation, unfortunately, this blanket did not do that, but that’s probably just me personally. For someone that responds well to weighted blankets this is definitely worth every penny!

Love the weighted blanket effects but…

Wow! Just Wow!

Previously I bought one of the “standard” weighted blankets(the kind with glass beads)Sent it back because it just didn’t work…beads ended up in corners even though there were squares stitched all over. And the thing was TOO hot even in winter! Hated the thing so I sent it back. Recently I spent a week reading about Bearaby before finally deciding to try another weighted blanket. Let me just say I LOVE it!! You can really snuggle up with this blanket and get that cozy wrapped up feeling! Summers in the Midwest can be hot and humid but because this weighted blanket is loosely hand woven I do not get hot at all because air can come through the holes in it. Speaking of the holes…It’s very calming to stick my fingers through the weave holes while relaxing in bed…don’t knock it until you try it! LOL…Anyway I’m glad I finally took the plunge to spent the extra money and buy the Bearaby Napper…it’s worth every dollar!

As a retired mental health professional in my late 70’s, I can’t believe I didn’t discover the efficacy of a weighted blanket sooner. After my doctor ruled out medical reasons for my complaint of feeling tired most of the time, I was convinced that I wasn’t resting well at night. I found myself getting heavy blankets out to cover me even though it’s summer here in Florida!

Sweet Embrace

Holy moly Batman! This is the best, weighted blanket I've ever had. My body runs hot and I'll overheat with the regular kinds of weighted blankets but with my Tree Napper I'm not sweating through my blanket. It's been a little chilly recently but I put a thinner blanket on top of my weighted blanket and because the Tree Napper breathes so well I still have good airflow. Prior to getting my Tree Napper I had been struggling with poor sleep while researching a new weighted blanket. My other one was a glass sand bead blanket that had sprung a leak. Although the weight was awesome the shifted beads would create hot spots and a sweaty body was the norm. I needed a better replacement and it was about a month of research to find this blanket. I got the 15-pound blanket and with how good it breathes I think I could have gotten away with the 20-pounds blanket. I have sensory issues as well and the loops are super soothing. I have truly fallen in love with my blanket, I am scoring in the 90s (using my smart device to monitor) since sleeping with my Tree Napper. I fall asleep faster, I am less restless from overheating, and I wake up rested. Honestly, the cost is worth it. I used PayPal to "pay in 4," option to survive the cost. As a grad student in the midst of writing my dissertation, this is probably my birthday, Christmas, and graduation gift all rolled into one. Invest in yourself, invest in your future, and let your body recover as it should. Thank you Bearaby for making such an awesome blanket! My sleep self is in deep gratitude and my awake self is reaping all the benefits!

Satisfying purchase

My husband has been sleeping with this blanket every night since he opened it on his birthday. He has high anxiety and tends to have difficulty falling and staying asleep. Since using the blanket, he no longer has difficulty with falling and staying asleep. It also seems like he's getting a much deeper sleep. He loves the blanket, including the look of it. It's a pretty looking blanket. It's natural cotton, as opposed to some horrible, unbreathable, artificial fiber filled with glass balls.

Amazing, and worth every single penny!

I purchased this for my husband. He works rotating days and nights and sleep can be elusive. I did a ton of research on weighted blankets and picked Bearaby because the weight would be evenly distributed and it is washable. My husband loves this blanket it has helped him get the most restful sleep in years. Even if he wakes up the weight makes it easy to fall right back asleep. He kept raving about the blanket, I got curious and "borrowed" it on a night he was working . I was not prepared for how much I would love this blanket it made the transition from resting to sleep so much faster and the weight is evenly distributed so in any sleeping position it felt wonderful. I kept "borrowing" his blanket on the nights he was working and now I have my own. You will not regret this purchase. The quality is fantastic and the restful sleep is worth every single penny .

Cozy Morning Routine

Our morning routine is so special with this! I work from home and my partner is a teacher, so before he leaves for work, he gives me lots of kisses and then wraps me in the Bearably weighted blanket while I sleep in. It feels very cozy. I also love that this blanket doesn't have much of a warming effect. This is not bad if you want something to give you weight without making you hot while you sleep. Perfect by itself for a nap. But if you need warmth, I always put my Bearably on top of my comforter and it's warm. One thing to note is that I can't really use this size Bearaby with my partner sleeping next to me. It tends to weigh the covers down too much and will slip off the bed much easier with the constant shifting. It only really fits one person under it. I got the grey, but I do wish they came in much more interesting colors than these really muted or pastel tones.

So comfy and really helped with my insomnia

I was skeptical on weighted blankets and held off because I’m a hot sleeper but decided to pull the trigger on this Bearaby cotton napper and have to say it’s been incredible. I struggle with insomnia and getting to sleep and this has cut getting to sleep down from 1-2 hours to generally less than 30 mins and once I’m asleep I feel like I sleep much deeper and if I do wake up just feel so comfortable that I generally go back to sleep pretty quickly. It seems like the holes in the Bearaby really let it breathe so I’m the perfect temperature. I really can’t believe how much I love this thing and it really has been a game changer. I looked into competitors that were cheaper like the Nuzzie but I prefer 100% cotton for the breathability and softness. I also tried the Bearaby tree napper made with Tencel and it was also pretty nice but I feel like the cotton napper was still softer and just as cool so I kept the cotton one. I’m thinking of getting a second because I don’t think I could live without one of these if the company ever went under for some reason.

I love the weight and airflow, but...

I've been using the cotton napper on my queen-size bed. Hubby has his own similar-sized weighted blanket, but we wanted to try the bearaby since it has so many great reviews. However, what I've found is that in practice, it's not really super practical for nighttime sleeping. In the morning I frequently find that the blanket has slid half off the bed, or else I'm fighting with it in the middle of the night to get it to stay on me. We're trying a different arrangement now, where the blankets are aligned horizontally, with the bearaby at the head of the bed and the other weighted blanket covering the bottom of the bed. It's better, but something about the way the bearaby blanket warps (due to the open nature of its knit) makes it a bit difficult to stay put. Perhaps if it wasn't on top of a sheet it would work better? Still experimenting, obviously. I really *want* to love it, but I don't just yet.
