Okay for kids room
This item is a little small for hardcover books, but it works well for a child or guest room. I have it in my guest room which doubles a s a room for my grandchildren's toys and books.
Poor Quality
I know this shelf is only $40, so I wasn't expecting high-quality, but this is the most flimsy piece of furniture I've ever bought. I own another bookshelf that I purchased for $30 about a year ago, and while not high quality it is more sturdy than this shelf.
