This is a very attractive standing desk that does not occupy tons of visual space. I bought it after shelter in place happened because I needed a desk solution for my studio apartment without taking up too much space. This is great and allows me to have variety between sitting or standing. Note, this does not drop down to a regular desk chair height, you will need a bar stool to truly sit here but it is nice that the table is adjustable.

Good quality and sturdy standing desk

Happy with the quality and look of this desk, especially for the price. I have it sitting 44" high on carpet and it's very sturdy. Assembly also isn't too bad. The veneer on mine is more of an ash or birch than beech (it's grayer).

Love it. It's solid. (It did come with a small chip in the laminate and some missing screws, but customer service is awesome and took care of it.)

Great, economical standing desk

They say sitting is the new smoking, and that sitting 8 hours a day is as damaging to your health as smoking two packs of cigarettes a day. My job as a writer and web design project manager puts me in the position of spending long hours at my computer every day, so I decided I needed to do something about all the sitting I had to do for my job. The answer? A standing height desk! However, many standing desks are outrageously expensive, big and bulky, or just plain ugly. It took a lot of research, but I finally found the perfect standing desk, and this is it. I love how minimal and attractive this desk is. It's a nice tall desk, and provides a work space large enough for a small lamp, a laptop, a book, a snack, and a cup of coffee, but it manages to do that without being big, ugly, and bulky. It is perfect for the small space I wanted to transform into an office for myself. I am 5'4" myself, and the lowest setting on this desk is the perfect height for me, but it also adjusts high enough for my 6'2" husband to use. Because I do want to be able to sit from time to time, as well, I went ahead and ordered the Winsome Wood 29-Inch RTA Single Saddle Seat Bar Stool also from Hayneedle, in the Walnut finish. It is a perfect fit for this desk, both height-wise, and in the finish color! I LOVE MY NEW WORKSPACE!!

Great desk

Great looking desk with nice minimal lines. Just the right size for a small lamp, a laptop, and a snack. It's everything I need in a workspace for my writing and web design work. Perfect standing height for me (I'm 5'4"), and also easy to pair with a tall stool for times when I want to sit awhile.
